there are many talented drivers in the slower cars and test drivers in F1 who in my opinion should all have race drives in good cars. However they can't do this because people like ralf shumacher insist on carrying on a career that died a long time ago. So here is my list of who should leave F1 for the good of the sport and allow younger drivers to take their place...

1. Ralf Shumacher
2. whatshisname Fisichella
3. Ruebens Barichello
4. Nick Heidfeld
5. Jenson Button

Now I expect to be verbally murdered for even mentioning JB has passed his sell by date by most of the predominantly English users on this forum but that's how I feel. Discuss (and go easy on me)

Why Button?

Is it his inability to make a slow car go fast?

I think miracles only happen in movies

If anything I'm surprised Heidfeld's on the list, he had a great year last year.

1. Ralf Shumacher
2. Fisichella .
3.Barichello
4 Kimi
5. Massa
6. Alonso

they are all worse than Heidfeld and Nico. Both would run rings round them, given the right car.

^^that gave me a chuckle. Massa and alonso are both still young. Kimi has only just won his first title. Why would they retire.

Barrichello should only leave for 2 reasons, if can win at least one Gp with Honda, or if Honda continue to be slow.

Heidfeld is one who should deffinetly not retire, he has a massive chance to win a WDC, why would you retire.

I think Honda deeply regret signing Rubens up for another season - nice guy no doubt - but he's lost the speed and hunger he once had. Massa should go, I don't know what he's doing in F1, merely just making up the numbers and keeping Alonso's seat warm for his arrival.

I'm surprised no one has said DC, who is probably the oldest driver? Although he's done a good job along with Ralk and Fisawhat's his name again, it's probably the last chance saloon.

I have no respect for Massa the chimp boy - the same way as I have no respect for any driver who went to Ferrari as Schu's no.2. But he is a reasonable tier 2 driver who still has something to offer

Ribena should follow Ralfy baby to tin tops or something less demanding than F1.

Ralph and Fissi are the only two I think should retire, the other driver's still have alot to offer to a team imo.

pit_babe: Kimi is the out-and-out fastest driver in the world. look at his record over the last few years. he's finally got his deserved world championship. Alonso is a two time world champion in a renault...i don't think it's right to say that Heidfeld and Rosberg would 'run rings around' both of them.

agreed with 8-ball's first three but Heidfeld and Jenson still have a lot in them.

What i wanna know is why he said DC. DC is doing great and yet again i have to say with Newey's new car he'll propel us to at least 4th place next season due to his technical invoice

Not Nick. Not Jenson. The others are past their sellby date and I'd throw in DC.
