All I see is the races on the tely.............and in 4 years Lewis has beaten all his teammates in equal machinery :yes: If the drivers choose diff setups theyre doing it for their own benefit but the cars are the same for both nevertheless :yes:

Not all machinery effects the drivers equally, look at the tyre issue this year, or even the way kers handles. Some drivers would prefer one way, others would be better than the first driver if they had it another way.

At anyrate, I still don't see why people don't wait and see where he is at the end of his career,

Would Lewis automatically win if he had an equal best car, sorry I doubt it.

My point is, to some extent all drivers need a preferred car, if Lewis made a mid-season switch to the redbull would he have beaten Vettel last year (just counting the races where they had the same car),

No doubt at all? Well, if you say so.

Yes most drivers prefer some kind of setup,agree!! And Jenson tried them all,his own,Lewis' and still he couldnt come ahead of Lewis!! Bear in mind Lewis is agressive and takes more risks,rather than collecting points,and with a couple of lucky strategy races is the only reason JB was even that close!!!

I see this year Lewis destroying JB,and if the 26 is up for the challenge..........everyone else for that matter!

As for Vettel...............cmon man...........he barely beat Webber!!!!!! thats all the info you need there!!! If that was Lewis the fight would be over by week 12-13

I know one thing, Vettel and Schumacher are unbeatable as TEAM! :)

uh...not really..they got beat before.. Hamilton has never lost to teamate in his whole life!!

Waste of Hamilton's time. Even if he went and got beat, doesn't mean he's not the fastest formula car driver. I mean Valentino Rossi would surely beat him on a ducati. Driving dune buggies and what not isn't going to make Vettel faster than Hamilton.

I don't even see Vettel as a fast guy. Lets just say getting matched by Bourdais and Webber is not fast enough for "Hamilton fan" standard. He needs to beat one of the big boys in the same car before he claim to be fast. Remember Kimi? - Tha fastest man in f1? :rofl: We all know how true that was after he met Massa (AKA Alonso's Chihuahua)

I really think Jenson lucked out quite a few times last year. Especially his two race wins, and during the weekends the McLaren was strong and Lewis was winning, there were breakdowns and whatnot to allow Jenson to finish right behind on those occasions where there was actually a big gap between the two McLaren teammates. In the end, it definitely ended up a lot closer than I expected but LUCK was a major factor for this.

Assuming lady luck doesn't continue shining down on Jenson again, the gap difference should be around 50 points in the end of 2011. :wink:

@The Ram
You are so one-sided, I don't know if debating this topic with you has any purpose... :D:rofl:
Ok, Hamilton was WC, so is Vettel now, and, NO, he didn't won thet title by accident, he deserved it and fought 'till the last lap of Abu Dhabi GP for it.

P.S. I don't see some other driver scoring a victory from Torro Rosso or some team like that one... ;P
