who really cares who Alonso THINKS are HIS rivals. Whats it really matter? im sure none of the other drivers really give a s*** what some eye brow says. Maybe the drivers he doesnt think are rivals can waive their fists at him like a moron? :P

hehe the media cares; and keeps asking and printing the news, doesnt it?
Even if the drivers are acting oblivious... the media is sure to keep digging the holes to create some tension from where there's none. Most drivers don't care at all.

Rosberg is fascinated with Alonso's facial hair. So he cares.

Beard envy? :yikes:

I'm curious why the press always asks Alonso who his chief rivals for the title are, like it's a foregone conclusion he's going to be fighting for it. The person they ought to be asking is Sebastian Vettel. You know? The reigning world champion.

They probably do as well - it's just not reported as prominently b/c we already have Marko doing that

I don't know what the question was, but Seb answered a question, then the Italian reporter from RAI asked him to give the answer in Italian (apparently he also speaks Italian) he replied "I'll speak Italian when I go to Ferrari" :)

 Seb has no manager, so he's his own business man... and this is a reply for business. I dont think he will keep it up for the whole season once he';s concentrated on driving, the championship, and whatever scrap may come up with a Ferrari...

But anyway... the press asks the drivers who they think their rivals will be... the drivers answer. The press decides to publish or not, based on the answer and what they can do with it... its no big deal.

He's starting to sound like the chihuahua that wont stop barking!!

Well, guess we'll see after some races if its bark or bite. Maybe the chihuahua will be the one biting the Bull, the Rottweiler and the Robots.

Red Bull tested without the fin... but that's not why i posted this pic. Just look at that bodywork around the floor and diffuser! No other team has managed it like that. This means that in theory the top of that diffuser is being fed a crapload of air. I actually just think Red Bull are going to destroy everyone again.

Seems like it. Its a very different design... and usually when Newey is doing something different, it means its also better.

But, isnt that actually above the diffuser? seems like all that air is going to pass above it... that would be counter-productive. But who knows, maybe there's something allowing all that air to pass below

As long as its higher pressure above than below its downforce right? The shape looks to simple to be making something significantly higher than atmo though... then again i was asleep for most of my fluid mechanics lectures...

not counter productive, it is a wing just like and air plane, but it is an INVERTED wing, do you still have the same principal at work, instead of pulling up, here it's pushing down.

I must say the rear of the Redbull is simply INSANE. No other car comes close to having such a tight a***....I really admire these guys and their innovation. With Newey at the helm, it's not much of a surprise though.

it's always a battle between the aerodynamacist and the mechanical engineers. To have a tight *ss back there, they're su_cking it all in I should know, I do that often when I have pictures taken. :D That's gotta have an effect. I agree it's smooth back there as a babies bottom, but the air getting to that area is not the cleanest.

I love F1. :cloud9:
