So today I took my X1 online. Getting in a room was a bit hard because of all the restrictions but I found one that said "Run what you got" or so they say. As we started, everyone with a head set started to complain saying how much of a douche I was for bringing it in against McLaren F1's and such. Partway through the race, my back tire touched the grass and I spun out. Even though I had a 45 sec lead the the guys started to complain about how they deserve the X1 and not me because "I couldn't handle the power". Man people can be A** H***'s online. ( BTW I lapped everyone then they kicked me out )

This is why I got out of online gaming many years ago; too many people bitching and moaning constantly, also the kids that were starting to play were in no way team players, (HL/TFC/UT), just ruining the game for the serious players, in the end all the servers were full of these annoying kiddies!

Which why rally games are the best. No contact, no bs, you can't ram your way to victory. Also ping means nothing, once you can maintain connection your sorted. Played Dirt2 to death online and the current WRC game. Can't wait for Dirt 3.

F1 2010 is crazy online as is GT5, everyone ramming everyone and kids screaming down their headsets.

If you guys are getting kind of tired of GT5 (Im not though) why don't you check out Testdrive Unlimited 2. I already started a new thread on it. BTW this isn't just another racing game, this is a car game.

I'm about 3 1/2 hours away from completely my first 24 hour race, of course I am using the Red Bull X2010 which is running rings around all the prototypes and LMS cars and I mean quite literally, lapped everyone at least 108 times so far, not actually driven the beast since acquiring it at Level 35!

I'm looking forward to the new patch (1.06) which is supposed to include GT Anywhere, which allows you to run B-Spec races from any internet connected device!

Well I....completed Level 40 today there's two prizes for level 40, the 2007 Ferrari F1 and the (yawning) McLaren MPC.

For those of you that need to tune a car but don't have a clue where to start;

To cure understeer:

increase the front spring rate until you find a balance that works for you!

To cure oversteer:

Increase the rear spring rate until you find a balance that works for you! Sometimes reducing the front downforce can also help with curing oversteer, I had to use a combination of both reduced front downforce and increased rear spring rate on the Red Bull X2010, I also softened the anti-roll bars and springs bound/rebound!
