The logo might provide a clue. Their colour changed to red almost immediately to depict Italy's national colour, and it is a little titbit that people don't know about...the colour they adopted for Ferrari brand was yellow. But as the team existed fundamentally for motorsports when they first begun, red became their predominant colour.

Why the hell do I know this about them anyway, I can't stand Ferrari!! :eek::hehe:

You're right. Yellow is the official color of Ferrari (look at the prancing horse logo, its on a yellow background). Red was the colour allocated to Italian racing teams way back when (as Bud pointed out)... Ferrari have just stuck with red for their racing colour.

I'm not looking forward to McLarens 'suit'...I KNOW it will be good! More interested in the 'shape' and any interesting innovations. Martin said they have very interesting innovations in the pipeline and I look forward to an E or G duct this time! :P

Haha...heard that theory. I prefer to believe in the other one: Other teams realising it's effectiveness and going "F***...." because its funnier. :hehe:

hehe, the Mclaren livery thread turned into a Ferrari livery thread, and we're even being nice about it.
