The Ferrari is/was/has been great it's just that McLaren's silvery serpent is more appealing too the eye, if thats what appease's you. Both fantastic looking cars imho so NO war waged.

The Tifosi don't get bored with it so really I think thats all that matters. The McLaren has been silver for how many years now but we are not bored with their livery, right? Ferrari has ALWAYS been red but can we say the same for McLaren?

Yellow?

I think Yellow is ok for a Ferrari, it is the predominant colour of their logo. Black is fine. Red is Ferrari because Red was the colour for Italy in Motorsports, So never Green(British) Blue(French) White or Silver(Germany) Second thought white is ok on a Testarosa and you have to wear hawaii shirts when drive it.

Yeah, yellow is actually the traditional Ferrari colour, like how orange 'was' for McLaren. Funny how these guys move away from it and adopt another 'tradition'....its about evolution I guess.
