Pardon me if topic is in wrong forum.
It would be a naive question but I'm rookie about F1.
Where do the drivers live?
Do they live in their home country or in the country/city where the team is based on?

I know some of the drivers live (or show their primary residence) in a country that has low taxes on their earned income. Not their home country.

Alonso, Hamilton and Schumi reside in Switzerland( schumi swiches with germany i think), tax heaven, banks, for theri millions, and the privacy from the prying, british,spanish german press etc.
Infact if i was ever rich id live in either Switzerland or Monaco

Schumey moved to low-tax Switzerland. Button moved to no-tax Monaco. Drivers from low tax countries have less incentive to move. Rubens, for one, has a home in his native Brazil and another in Portugal. I suspect most if not all can afford homes in multiple countries.
