Wait a minute... if the bar code was subliminal...
How about the new white cone enclosed in a white rectangle?

Your not another conspirator theorist are you? Give it a rest ok it's so  .

Conspiracy nothing, have you looked at it?
I'm exaggerating, but jeez, that logo screams Marlboro in that position.

hehe
Correct. Its no conspiracy; its a LOT more direct than the bar code, which to me was so far it was not even subliminal... but this one is straight on (the bar code to me was onoy apparent to those who know Ferrari is sponsored by Marlboro, but the new one is just the Marlboro logo with a curved line instead of a break).
Perhaps its the 'official' F150 which will probably only run where tobacco is allowed........

The meaning of this is more or less.... if Ferrari are able to cash in 1Billion for the next whatever yrs through this sort of advertising, i think its unfair to the rest of the teams struggling for cash. How about a horse with a hump and a big nose... instead of a Camel to sponsor Williams? Problems solved Frank! ;)

Different smokes for different folks I guess. Some analize over something/anything that could be nothing but a predisposed flaw with someone or something so their mind's reference is made up already because they have a conspirator's mentality.

If the FIA see nothing wrong what does it matter, are we gonna continuously cry about it or just get back to racing?

Oh! Texasmr2 I couldn’t imagine you would become a sort of a paranoid seeing conspiracy theorists everywhere? I hope you won’t continue carrying a gun anymore. I mean, are you sure you won’t harm innocent people? Please, take care. Not everyboby is a criminal.

Gotta say how happy I am about the F Una Cinquanta, I think Ferrari have really produced a great looking car with lots of interesting ideas built in.

In terms of looks, when I first looked at it (front on), I immediately thought of the F310B (1997).

Also, although the fin wasn't there, I'm almost certain it will be back. I'd expect to see it at testing. So, we need to wait and see what that looks like. Having said that, and seeing how great the car looks without it, I really wish the FiA would ban them, on looks alone.

One more general, and probably insignificant observation, did anyone else think the engine sounded more "growl-ly"? I just love that!! Can't wait to see and hear them in the flesh (my first time this year will be Malaysia).

Here's a good fly around video:

I was surprised by how high the nose is, and consequently how high the driver sits (have a look where Nando's helmut reaches this year compared to last year). They've raised the nose so high they can't get a V going (I think there's a restriction on height - top of wheel? - that prevents going any higher and therefore no real V).

To me, Ferrari's focus has been to get back and perhaps even grow the aero effects of body and rear - despite the banning this year of the DDD - as we can see, the vanila flavoured diffuser is back. As well as the front nose being so high (which I think will actually be the opposite of most other teams, who I expect will go for lower noses and deeper V). I was very interested to see they have opted to keep the exhaust blown low:-

The other surprise for me was they went with a push-rod, especially at the rear. Although it is an "incredible" rear suspension - really exciting. So, they give up a little in terms of how low they can get, but get strength and configuration options and probably cooling which means they can go with smaller lighter (but hotter needing more cooling) batteries. Just have a look at the rear suspension - it is so different and looks great. Also, look at the big slot/gap highlighted in the cover at the rear. We had it before, but never so pronounced:-

Aesthetically speaking, I just love the tricolore on the back. I think that is such a great touch. I love this years livery, mostly because of that, more than any launch in a long time.

One more observation. Look at the pictures below from the test run. You can see the rear wing in the closed and opened position. I am more convinced that ever what a disastrous move this untested idea is! It is going to work so incredibly well. Not just the benefit of the F-Duct, but it will work much faster, much better and, with the F-Duct there was no reduced drag effect, the wing kept the same profile and angle, now, you can just see how huge the drag will be reduced by the moving of the top element. The only thing we can hope for is the FiA will see how stupidly faster and what a HUGE advantage they are artificially giving the following car and they will just ban it before the first race. I for one certainly hope so.

Firstly I'm not a paranoid it's just an opinion and I thought that is what we shared on this forum  ?

Secondly don't stoop so low as too bring my profession into the mix, that's inappropriate and uncalled for  . So please refrain from such comments in the future and to the team I do not appreciate it nor will I tolerate it, now everyone knows Jack  .

To spankyham,
Yah I noticed the nose aswell and thinking about it the more distance/space between the nose and front wing could be that more airflow gets to the aero etc etc?
Man I cannot wait for the new season :cloud9::thumbup:

Equally, this response was not necessary. :)

Does that mean I should not graciously responde to those who belittle my profession when it's totally inappropriate? I think you are wrong simply because I was not.... oh what's that word.... an arse for bringing ones profession into the mix? Fine I won't respond anymore, happy now?

ps,
Oh and thanks for your support as it clarifies alot of thing's for me now.

Chill tex, I agree with Scotty, just don't respond to unproductive posts, or if you feel irked, its not what we're here for, and responding just fuels the fire so to speak, someones gotta break the chain and just "walk away", or report it too the mods, or take it to pm.

agreed. I cant see this new logo lasting very long due to protests from the same people who protested the barcode! it looks ugly anyway.

I'd love to see a youtube clip or sequential pics of the rear wing in motion. Only one of the pics here really hints at the mechanism but I'd love to see the equivalent pic from the front angle of the wing.

Marca has put together a pretty nice comparison graphic between the F150 and the F10 here.
Grab and pull the slider bar :-)
