Whats your favourite onboard lap? This is by far my favourite lap.

That is nuts, looks heaps scarier than modern F1.

This YouTube comment sums it up:
Hear hear. Bring back the days when it was a pissing contest between a bunch of chain smokers driving cars that were fiery explosions waiting to happen, each man just trying to prove he had the biggest balls. Those were the motherfucking days.

I posted this particular video elsewhere on the forum before now but who cares, it's just that good!

Alonso scything through the pack at the start of the Hungarian GP in '06, his move around the outside of Schumacher near the end is particularly good:

I'm sure there's loads i've missed, will post as i remember/find them...

Scotty, i was just about to post that

Forgot about this, Alonso gambles on switching to inters for one single lap at Spa in 2008 and drives past other cars like they are standing still.

Couldn't find this video in better quality, but you can still see enough to know why i chose it.

Not a full lap but onboard footage of an F1 car in anger around that place? Priceless.

[What's Burning?]

^^ I love Sir Stewart's commentary! Priceless.

Wasn’t Hungary 2006 the first Jenson Button won? That race was so intense, under the rain, I remember it perfectly. Alonso doubled Schumacher in a few laps. You can appreciate how Michael Schumacher was the only one who tried a dirty maneuver when he was overtaken.

great lap from the legend!, but is it me or is that a monaco of old or something it looks different to now

I cant seem to find the lap where Senna got pole by 2 seconds over Prost in Monaco 1988, Where he said this
“I felt as though I was driving in a tunnel. The whole circuit became a tunnel... I had reached such a high level of concentration that it was as if the car and I had become one. Together we were at the maximum. I was giving the car everything - and vice versa.”
