I'd always heard that the San Diego Zoo was VERY progressive, but even that's a bit rich for me. Now if it was a cougar instead of a tiger...

I understand there already are exotic game hunting preserves in Texas that have expressed an interest in adding the woolly mammoth to the menu. Trophy fee for an African tusker is around €15,000. The privilege of hunting an extinct animal should fetch at least 10x that. I suppose Holland & Holland should start work on a suitable calibre; I'm not sure the .700 Nitro Express is enough gun.

The .600 Nitro Express is/was suitable for Elephant and Cape Buff so I doubt the .700 would have any issue taking one down with a clean brain shot. Although I do not personaly hunt in any form or fashion anymore I just thought I would comment.
