Does Anti-Lewisness count for Anti-Britishness? Lotsa that everywhere

Why the hell should it?

It only counts if they don't like Lewis specifically because he's British.

im sorry but it does, a lot of people hate drivers on their nationalitu, not least a black briton, hes just asking for it, and britain is one of the most detested countries in the world like the US.

A bit harsh

seriously though, arrogance? agressiveness? only in a few cases, most hate him for something he cant help, like owning two time world champs.......( cutting deep now!)

This forum mate is not entirely British and just because another member supports another driver does not mean they are Anti-Brittish just because they do not support him .

Now thats funny dude ! Before I go to OT let me ask you this ok F1er? What nationality/race are you because I know I could think of some choice depiction's/terminologies, see what I mean? We have NO race/creed/color or religious seperation here we are merely F1 fans. In fact I think this thread could/should be locked because it's only causing turmoil amongst us which is not what we want, right? Let's talk F1 that's all I'm saying.

An American once asked me if we celebrated the fourth of July in England.

Yeah, not so much

and that's when you answer, yes... but ours is a somber celebration. really confuse em'

My cousin would make a point of wearing a Union Jack T on the fourth, I thought that was just silly. We were both living in the US at the time, I just got my sparklers out and got on with it. Actually, I think I may be the most patriotic non-American in history. This one time (not in band camp, but close), I celebrated the fourth in Bristol, RI. They had the most amazing parade ever. At one point, they had this amazing drum-off, I've never seen anything like it. I was getting teary-eyed and all sentimental. If I was like a proper American, I think I would have just fainted away from pure joy.

I've been here most of my life and I've NEVER seen a drum off!

But what I have seen is pretty cool, the local philharmonic on the 4th of July here does a rendition of the 1812 overture. The cool thing is that the ex Mayor has a collection of cannons. Real honest to goodness live cannons, and they use them for their rendition of the overture. So along with the fireworks... MAN IT'S AWESOME TO FEEL THE CANNONS THUMPING YOUR CHEST even though they're about a quarter mile away!

It 's seem's the Anti-Britishness especially considering the OP is something not extracted not from our forum or members is humorous at best. I know I'm not anti-anything/anybody I just have a good sense of humor . Also as far as drivers nationality being an issue how could I be anti in anyway when my two favorite drivers are not American, I only see that kind of outlook here.

Anywho I'm getting a good laugh from the post so I guess job well done .

a good laugh? backhand insult or what? Nobodys implied you are anti-limey anyway, sometimes i feel dispite a common lanhuage interpretation is awful different between yanks and brits, this post just sounds patronising tex
