Its great isn't it!!???!! Bling on the McLaren?? Hmmm need to try that

I actually bought the McLaren especially for the photo travel; the last photo was taken on the European champion on Extreme at Monza, loved the fire spitting exhausts.

All the touches are done within GT5; when setting up your photo; press the Triangle button to bring up the camera settings menu!

I see you wre online last night but I was "busy" doing the 9HR Endurance race, yes I said 9HOUR Endurance race. I just don't understand how the $$ reward is only $100,000+ on these Endurance Races while the other lower levels are worth more. The worst part is you have to repeat these races over and over and over again because they don't give you enough points to move to the next level. Instead of Level 21, level 22, level 23 etc... Its level 30, 32, 35, 40, it takes a while to move up on levels and I have my PS3 running non-stop the last 3 days. BTW, you will need 4 drivers once you reach level 32, but don't worry, there's a trick. Assuming you already have two drivers (yes you should have at least two drivers) stay with two until your first Endurance Race. On your first Endurance Race, start your two new drivers with the Formula GT car. All their attributes are at 0, but with the Formula GT car, they will leave everyone in the dust. When you are done with the race, their attributes should jump to level 16. On level 32, use all four drivers with the same car, all their levels will skyrocket after the race.

Yep, my boys logged OVER 20,000 MILES. Still on the 9hrs, 2 hours and 200laps down, 7 hours more to go and then do it over again to level up. BTW, if you have the older PS3, make sure you got plenty of ventilation. I fried my PS3 last year, it overheat and fried the internal power supply and I found out it was a common problem with the older PS3.

by the way MOA and bmwpower, it looks like we are in a race for the X Prize...

At level 30 on Spec A, and level 35 on Spec B, the Red Bull X1 is released.. It think I will be shooting for it today.. I am halfway through lvl 29 and it builds up smaller and smaller with each race I win.. Doesn't seem like I will get through it..

Good Luck boys!!

I'm pretty much out of the race as my PS3 gets used for other things than GT5 as well; Netflix and Blu Ray playback etc, time to boot my son off the PS3 now, he can watch Netflix in the bedroom.

Am I the only person to be having problems with getting the Formula GT to perform in A spec in the FGT championship, every time I get on the gas like the AI competitors, I end up in a massive tank slapper and ultimately end up facing the wrong direction, I have managed to make the car controllable with stiffening the spring rate and other suspension settings but the car still doesn't perform as well through the twisty bits as the AI cars.

Although I use my FGT car a lot. I've only competed in one FGT race.. Monza, where I came in third, but could have won.. It takes a smooth delicate touch when racing against the other FGT cars. I have not performed any set up so I can't say if it would help.

My AI team though,... thats another story.. They can drive the hell out it, unless they are behind another car, and then they get confused... I hit the overtake command and then they do it... I'm like "why do I have to tell you to do that."

I have the same question; for overtaking and being overtaken; I shouldn't have to tell my driver to "pace up" when another car is catching or even about to overtake.

You have to level them up to at least 30-31. Keep an eye on your "cool & hot" meter, if its on hot and you telling them to "overtake" or "pace up", there's a good chance they'll spin, balance the "cool & hot" and telling them to overtake at the right meter works all the time. But level them up and they'll pace up and overtake by themselve.
