I am just starting this as a global gauge of the price of new cars. I work for a manufacturer here in Singapore and so many of my friends find it unfathomable the price of cars here.

So lets see who can outdo me?

How much is a base spec, 4 door, Toyota Corolla sedan in your country?.......for me the Retail Price is currently SGD$89,488. (you do the exchange rate and get the surprise of your life)

Then....how much is a base spec Lexus IS250 in your country?.....SGD$188,000 here!

Wow. Here, i believe the Corolla hasn't been on sale for a few years now because we have the Auris instead. So you're basically saying it's £44k for an obselete car...


The Lexus apparently costs £25k here. It costs you guys an equivalent £92k.
