Marlboros&McDonalds kill more people than an atom bomb could! Sh** I use both

That's YOUR choice.

So all it actually comes down to is.....................................................CHOICE

Blaming guns for people's deaths :nono::nono: SOMEONE "chose" to hurt another using a gun! Now what if instead of a gun that someone used a gallon of gas from the local Shell to light another one up????????????? we make gasoline illegal???????? It all comes down to CHOICE

Has anyone seen "1000 Ways to die" on Spike

It's just funny how the right wingers and gun fanatics in this country bring up choice and freedom and rights when it concerns their beloved guns. However, if somebody CHOOSES to enjoy some recreational drugs - no, no, no :nono: Wants to have a choice about abortion - no, no, no :nono: Wants to exercise the right of having no religion and actually run for office - no, no, no :nono: Wants to be gay and get married - no, no, no :nono: etc., etc.

Are so different right and left wingers in America? Now you have a left winger President. What about the Cuban issue, for example? Communist threat was over long time ago. Trade and commerce with the biggest communist country in the world, China is amazing, the people of Cuba is almost starving in poverty. Has Barack Obama taken any steps to try to seal an agreement that satisfies everybody and arrive to an end with this damaging and painful situation?

Im not familiar with the Cuban situation but i assume its because they are still run by a dictatorship. Not because its communist. China has opened itself up to the world in many ways, but it still keeps some doors shut.

There are a lot of dictatorships in the world that don’t have any problem with the US. The problem the Cuban people have is the Commercial embargo, which is ruining them and their country since the fifties or so. They were helped by the former USSR, but now they are suffering extreme poverty. Is a very important human problem that should be amended by any means if possible.

Spain is ruled by a left-winger party and it’s horrible. They’re ruining the country, lying, manipulating and controlling the Media and the education. They are demagogic and populists. They are worst than an epidemic.
Probably a politician is just that, a politician and it doesn’t mind his color, all what they want is to get power and stay in it.

The fact is, if the Gun Law in the US was the same as it was in the UK then far fewer people would be shot.

Fine you might upset some people who want to go shoot some poor defenceless Animals in a wood somewhere but who cares?

You choose to eat McDonalds and smoke Marlboros.

The people of Hiroshima and Nagasaki did not choose their fate.

What you mentioned have nothing to do with right or left! but everything with religion

I dont have a gun,and couldnt care less if others do! It's a CHOICE!
What I meant is something like this.............

Person X decides to have a groovy day and goes horseback riding.Along the ride a snake crosses the horses path making him go bezerk, throw Mr.X off and braking his neck!
Whose fault? Horse? Snake? Mr.X?

But gun-ownership is in the holy constitution, therefore anything goes!

What I was trying to say in my previous post is this: yes, people kill people..of course. But guns enable people to committ murder in very different ways than, say a knife, would.

Oh, and texmix. I'm not American but I lived in your country for years, married to a Prince Georges County Police Officer (most violent county in the US, btw). I used to visit the gun range on a regular basis. Does that allow me to put my two cents in? :D

@ F1er, So you're saying people should take the risk of being shot into account when choosing to go shopping or to school?

Eating burgers, smoking, horse riding, climbing mountains etc.. people are taking their own risk and are well aware of that. People don't generally choose to put themselves in a position where they are at risk of being shot.

But you see,it is the people that are taking the risk with guns as well when they agree with the constitution! "The right to bear arms"

All I'm saying is that when a person CHOOSES to commit a crime,he/she will do it with or without a gun!
