I've been wondering whether this new wind tunnel coincided with Ferrari's comeback in the second half of 2010.

That comes from the other thread and just to finish it, because I had written it when it was locked. I'm sorry for the rest of you.
You find easier to believe such a mistake, than he knew that he was going to be replaced by Pat Fry and simply felt betrayed by Ferrari. How much easier?
Anyway, sometimes we have to reverse the Occam’s razor. The simplest explanation is often the likeliest, also means that the simplest explanation isn’t always the correct.
Don’t forget that sometimes we also have to look around, not only in front of us, because there are a lot of people doing things over there and we have to make deductions to find the truth that isn’t always at first sight.
If you don’t want to answer, you’re in your right. It will be a pity, but as you know I appreciate your opinions.

heh, you can send Private Messages you know, anyway, I'm pretty worn out discussing it, I don't object to you expressing your opinion (note how big your original thread got), but there's a time and a place.

It's possible your correct, I'm not saying its not.

That's all I think.

Spanky posted an article back on topic, so discussion on that should be allowed to run.

I don't think going off topic is a problem, is people arguing and discussions that aren't going anywhere that get topics locked.

Well, thats interesting, because it raises Ferrari's title credentials to me, seeing as they'll have that wind tunnel and restructured areo-department for the entire of next season.

True, well on here at least. But the Mclaren livery discussion was pretty nice and dandy.

It's a case of the haves and the have nots... but I read somewhere last year when Toyota's stuff was for sale that it also includes work in their wind tunnel which apparently they rent out for development, so you don't need a wind tunnel, just access to one. As Virgin proved to us all CFD alone just don't cut it.

Well, windtunnel' are pieces of equipment, so they aren't biased, so it won't really matter who owns it but who uses it, I think Ferrari had a wind tunnel before, they just use a better one now.

Woo Hoo! 288's been delivered. It must be very exciting for the team to receive the first 2011 chassis to begin assembly.

Working on the new chassis

Maranello, 7 January – These are busy times for Scuderia Ferrari Marlboro as it prepares for the start of another season of track activity, which gets underway on 1st February at Cheste, near Valencia (Spain,) when the first of four test sessions gets underway, prior to the start of the 2011 World Championship.

This morning, the Car Assembly department took delivery of the first chassis of the new car, which goes by the code number 288. Engineers and mechanics are already working on it, going through the usual early-build procedures. The next big step comes at the end of January, when the complete car will be unveiled in Maranello. Holiday time for the Scuderia Ferrari Marlboro drivers is running out.

As from this coming Monday, Fernando Alonso, Felipe Massa, Marc Gené, Giancarlo Fisichella and Jules Bianchi will be in Madonna di Campiglio for the start of the twenty first edition of “Wrooom, the event that that has traditionally marked the start of the season, with the Scuderia Ferrari Marlboro drivers being joined on the snow capped mountains by their two wheeled colleagues from the Ducati Marlboro Team, along with members of the specialist press.

I’m sorry, but I can’t agree with that. There are people that aren’t interested in reasoned arguing and fair discussions that get topics locked. I mean insulting, despising or ridiculing people or their opinions because they don’t like them or they don’t share those opinions. I’m not referring to jokes, but to brutal sarcasm or idiotic mocks that produces a chain reaction and the following explosion that gets the thread locked. Moreover, nothing is going anywhere, not only discussions.

The main problem Jack is that some do not post as an opinion but as fact and last time I checked no member here is a member of an F1 team in any capacity, therein lies the problem  .
