Personally I would put Lewis in the same category as Sebastian, very fast on the track but also prone to mistakes, Lewis could have been 2010 WDC if he showed more maturity behind the wheel, waiting for a better opportunity to overtake instead of piling in and ending up out of the race.!

BOGUS!!!!!!!! ALL of it

Mistakes??????????? he has 9 retirements his all career! Seb,Ferdie,Web made same-or-more mistakes! 2010 WDC ?? HE had no car, remember Jenson(mistake free) Button? nothing to do with maturity, actually his agressiveness kept him in the hunt

Opinion;
#1 Sentiment (usually pl. ) refers to a rather fixed conviction, usually based on feeling or emotion rather than reasoning:
#2View; is an estimate of something, an intellectual judgment, a critical survey based on a mental examination, particularly of a public matter

I just did a #2on #1

:nono: Lewis doesnt feel more pressure than any other driver!!
 He is a racing machine on the track!

Everyone else feels the pressure with Lewis on track since he's the most feared driver by his peers:wink:

How do you work that out?

Not sure about Lewis handling pressure the best, it might be his biggest flaw, making mistakes at the tail end of the season. Also, he said he'd rather be the one chasing then the one ahead, which I found interesting.

hes the worst at handling it BUT its his only flaw. i agree wwith the rather chasing bit, infact unless its a huge lead i dont know why anyone would rathet be chased with points so close.

It's not his only flaw, but yeah probably his main one of significance, but thats just me being pedantic.

I think it's indicative in what he said about chasing, also I can't imagine Alonso or Sumacher saying that, I think they'd go with the rational choice and not let mentality or emotion get in the way.

well on f1 2010 i HATE being chased lol, i understand LH's approach, and that approach has won him a title....

and i said its his only problen in the sense that it causes his crashes. other then that he doesnt have any, unless you eant to be like you said and question his personality, best part of it is that lewis doesnt care, hes publicly stated many times hes aware hes agressive and tjats just him, it wont change. Really i have every right to say a 4th place in Hungary, 2nd in spain, and the singapore webber and australia extra pit is VERY complimentary to Lewis's season given any othet day theyd of been avoided, thats a s*it loads of poimts gone
through no personal fault, oh yeah
and he lost a gear in suzuka, now takimg
into account
buttons retirements alonsos and assumimg the red bull was as good as ferrari or mclaren of 2010 hamilton could have near walked it with fred.

The thing i live by in f1 is that fickleness is the greatest sin, people are all too often short sighted and dont
look at
bigger pictures.

From germany onwards it's clear how the cars ranked, even FM almost equaled both Maccas in terms of points (a broken Felipe at that)

FA 154 pts
SV 141
MW 114
LH 95
JB 81
FM 77 (give or take 7)

A little breakdown helps to assess performance sports, especially the ones which man-n-machine compete together

So why not properly break it down and take into account driver errors and mechanical issues in the second half, rather than looking at pure numbers?

A bit of cold water onto the hopes of some people:

ESPNF1:
A results clause in Sebastian Vettel's contract means he is unlikely to leave Red Bull at the end of the season, despite widespread reports linking him with a switch to Ferrari.

Vettel remains under contract for 2011, but it was believed that the 'option' relating to 2012 was exercisable by either the driver or Red Bull. But an article published by the Red Bull-owned Speed Week magazine revealed that if Vettel wins a prescribed number of races this year, and finishes the championship in the top three, he will be locked in for 2012.

The editorial said that all the speculation about Vettel's future beyond 2011 was "written without knowledge of his contractual situation" regarding the 2012 option. "There is an option based on the results," Red Bull's Helmut Marko confirmed. "We will not just let a top driver go."
