Well I guess when his current contract is up Vettel can negotiate alot more dough :p. Honestly I'd like to see him stay with a competitive Red Bull for atleast a little longer. As many other say we don't see an fa/sv partnership working out. I also don't see him moving to McLaren seeing as he and Hamilton are close enough in ages that they will be racing each other for most of their careers. The other option would be Merc when Schumi retires again.

Honestly though I thought any F1 or aspiring F1 driver wouldn't definitively turn down the idea of driving for the red team at some point.

The reason Ferrari does not advertise is because their tag line would be...

Ferrari, do less with more.

:rofl: I was reading recently 19 top desgners picked their favourite car, the car they wished theyd desigened and none of them picked a ferrari!!! And 132 cars were picked. I must admit even I was a little suprised by that! :hehe::hehe:

So what car came out on top? Italians know how to design sexy things, Olivetti managed to make a damn typewriter sexy! When I say Ferrari I'm strictly speaking about their F1 identity as I think their road cars are (for the most part) great visual successes... unlike Lambos.

I agree about the road cars.
The cars were race cars and this is the list:-
Lotus 79
Lotus 88
STP Turbine special 'silent sam'
Chaparral 2C
Chaparral 2E
McLaren MP4/4
Williams FW14B
Audi Quattro
Audi Quattro Sport
Lotus 49
Mercedes W125
Peugeot 205 T16
Alpine A110 1600

Lotus does well, thats not suprising. But Ive not heard of some of them.

I'm sure Vettel is thinking about driving for Ferrari and has definitely gotten an offer or two... there should come a time. And it will all depend on what Red Bull does for him and what Vettel is able to show he can do, so far Vettel is impressive, but he still needs some more time to show he can be a definitive force.

He'll keep showing he's a definitive force as long as Red Bull keeps the best car on the grid under him.

Fernando comments here on the possibility of having Sebastian as a teammate at Ferrari sometime in the future.

Some Nando quotes from the article:-

"I’m not afraid of Vettel. If Sebastian comes to Ferrari one of these days there will be no problem."

"I do not have anything in particular to say on the matter, but I am not afraid of any teammate, because I have never been frightened. None of my teammates has ever won even a single point more than me, so I do not see why I should be frightened of anyone."

Drivers will go where they have the chance with the best car. If Ferrari have that then im sure Vettel will go, but if Redbull still have the best car, then I cant see him leaving.

Unless there's an MS-style deal on the table where SV brings other personnel (such as Adrian Newey) to Ferrari...

So FA is still bitter and :banghead: over 2007 :clap::clap:

Fernando Alonso says he would have no problem being team-mates with Sebastian Vettel if the world champion were to switch to Ferrari in future.

The Spaniard points to the fact that he has never been out-scored by a team-mate in his Formula 1 career and says he has no reason to fear Vettel.

"I'm not afraid at all of Vettel," he told Spanish media in Oviedo this week. "Should he come to Ferrari one day it won't be a problem, I have nothing to say on that.

"But I'm not afraid to face any team-mate, because I've never feared them. None of my team-mates have ever done a single point more than I have, so I don't see why I should be afraid of anyone."

Alonso added that he expects Ferrari to produce a car capable of challenging Red Bull and McLaren for the championship in 2011.

"I have no doubts that next year I will have the car I want," he said. "Ferrari has to aim for the title because of the prestige it has always had."
