RW appeared on Conan one night this past week. It was great ot see that. Seemed weird to see such a legend on a talk show. He never seemed the sort to do that. OTOH it serves the purpose of whatever the benevolent aims of his current endeavour are.

Daym I missed it but you are correct it seem's rather odd but imho I think Roger is mellowing out and becoming more open. The Wall was basicly about his feeling's of seperation from the fans yet as time has marched on possibly he is reuniting with them.

To be specific in case you need to be told, He didn't perform, was not a musical guest. He was a talk guest. I only caught the tail end of it but he mentioned "the children". Seems in each city he uses local school children in the concerts and money from the tour revenue goes to schools and other childrens' interests. I think. Not sure but I think.
On The Wall the record the choir that performed was not paid and sued the band.
Rick wright was fired just prior to the tour and was a paid musician on the tour. He was the only person on stage to make money from the tour.

That sent shivers down me spine! Everybody cheering when the kids are walking on, the lights firing up right before they start, and notice all the lighters burning during their portion, WOW can you imagine being a kid in a school choir and getting to sing in a frickin' Pink Floyd concert?!?!? OMG even without all the cheering I would die of happiness right on the spot!
BTW whoever filmed that, looks like an illegal bootleg and we're depriving RW and by extension those childrens' charities of $$ just by watching it LOL.

As Roger said 2yr's ago at his Darkside of The Moon concert aswell as this one he does not mind pictures or video's being taken, his only request was that no flash's be used .
