Well I decided to splurge alittle and whats an extra $100 when premium seating is involved right? We will be sitting in section A row 6 seats 3 & 4 (which begin on the inside and not the outside) and the package includes the following goodies :

One premium, reserved ticket located within the first 15 rows of the stage or side stage.
Exclusive pre-concert reception featuring a first class buffet with open bar (beer and wine) .
Reserved parking pass (one pass with every order).
Exclusive Concert Shirt (high quality, exclusive design).
Limited Edition Tour Poster (numbered, exclusive to ticket package).
Official 'The Wall' Tour Program.
Collectible Tour Laminate.
Commemorative Pin Set.
Exclusive 'The Wall' Tour Gift".

This is a layout of the arena which in modern terms is very small;

Not my video as I'm still waiting on them but a good idea of the show and how it was. I was sitting in front of the 'soundboard' setup in the middle of the floor and closer than they were aswell to the left.

The penultimate moment:

After this finaly I did miss Roger not finishing with 'The Tides are Turning' so I must accomodate from the 1990 Berlin show;

I sat next to a father and his 15yr old son and it was the son who was more into Pink Floyd .

A great place to sit as that's where it sounds best, I'm speaking as a sound technician; and the "soundboard" is called a "mixing console"

Damn, I miss engineering live sound!

This pic makes me laugh simply because back in the day all you saw were hundreds of lighters but now it's cellphones .

This guy was hilarious pushing around a grocery cart requesting money for booze and rubbers !

I can't believe Roger is still riding this 30+ year old mare
Has he come out with anything substantial and new?

Considering the original concert was only performed 31 times between '80-'81, Los Angeles (7 shows), New York (5), Dortmund (8) and London (11), I think the fans like myself who did not see the first tour were owed a ride on the back of that 'old mare' . Depeche Mode is still riding their 27yr old mare, whats the difference?
