One of my fellow deputy sheriffs was injured in a robbery today with shoots fired but thankfully he was not hit. As one of the two suspect's fled in a car they tried to run him down and pinched him between the two cars. Nothing life threatening but still when your a peace officer a bond is made that will never be broken. He has been a great mentor too me and I call him my friend so say I good word for not only him but all other peace officers as it would be appreciated.

Knowing police officers, since he's not seriously injured, what happened is gong to be joked about to death and he'll be a department hero for a while. If he was seriously injured he'd be getting my thoughts and prayers, a high-five seems more appropriate here though
