Sometimes I wish that things went differently between Alonso and Mclaren

I would have hoped for Alonso & Kubica racing together at Mclaren (that would have been my dream team)

I wouldn't care who would come on top between the 2 of them because I really like both.

But if it can't happen at Mclaren, Ferrari would be fine with me.

My next choice would be Heidfeld & Rosberg but not sure about Mercedes. Maybe I can see them at RBR.

PS: please do not turn this thread into Alonso vs Hamilton vs Mclaren one. Thanks.

True, but without getting into the whole politics of it, I don't see him there.

Hamilton and Alonso, just keep those two off each other in free time and give them the same treatment. Probably the most competitive team in history, oh yeah and in McLaren

I think it is very difficult to say. If Button or Hamilton had been in the RBR car for 2010 would they have done better than they did at McLaren? if Vettel had been a ferrari would he have won the WDC? if Alonso had been in the Mclaren would he have had the amazing comeback at the end of the year?

If I had to choose it would have to be Button (reliable, sensible, experienced) paired with Vettel (fast, obviously good enough to win WDC,) in the RBR car.
This choice is purely based on drivers and Cars in 2010.

An ultimate dream team (any driver/car from any time period) would have to be Schumacher (at his prime) with A. Senna (again at his prime) racing in the Brawn GP car of 2009. I Know this is complete fantasy but some people have also posted about Hamilton at Ferrari with Alonso which is just as unlikely IMO!
