I just read the article on another site and was wondering what could have happened if he didn't have the pain.
That's a tough dude.

So the myth of Vettel the next Mike took 2 steps back! Too bad Mark wasnt 100%

Yes. I was a little disappointed in him, I thought he'd come back at Vettel once his leg was fit...but the shoulder....that explains things. Poor mark.

If I was Mark I would focus more on other less prone to serious injury activities but we can't fault the man for enjoying life and one of his passions, life is to short.

Wow that was really impressive. Racing with a hur shoulder must be hell. No wonder his form 'misteriously' dipped...... feel bad for Webber, but he should have known better! what the hell was he doing moutain biking in the middle of a season :nono: he should have been spending his time getting pedicured... or some kind of asian massage....

A lot of the drivers ride mountain bikes for fitness training during the season.

Yeah, but they are smart enough not to ride the mountain bikes in the mountains!

Wasn't there a rumor that Fernando Alonso insured his thumbs for 5 million Euros? Compare that to Webber, thrashing himself about like some cheap "Jackass." (MTV Jackass). He needs to preserve his self man, he's already nearing the retirement ages where one slight drop in performance can cost him his seat. Needs to look on the big picture..Really let me down this year as I preferred him as champion.

What's your problem with Webber? You blame him for Singapore still? Get over it Lewis has! He was riding with a friend who came off infront of Webber would not have mattered if he was riding on the street, trail or mountain he would have come off anyway!

No, no. You see, only in the mountainous regions of the world can colliding with another bike cause you to come tumbling to the ground as well. Everywhere else you just ride straight through, much like in the pit lane in F1 2010.

Didn't take treacherous terrain to bring this rider down, sorry I could not help myself :D !

Also you aswell as I, well maybe not as much as I, should know the terrain could be as flat as the Salt Flats and there will still serious injuries. The bad thing about MW's two fractures is that only time, and alot of it, will only heal his fractures.

Poor, poor Mark... It’s always something with this guy huh? He has been racing for 8 years and has had no real successes or luck. While I would like to feel for a guy like this all he did all year was whine like a little baby about how Vettel was the team favorite instead of just dealing with it like a man. All his comments were ridicules especially considering how much more experienced he is than Vettel. Now this comes out?!?

I just don’t buy this somehow... A guy that cry’s about Vettel being favored at ever microphone put in front of his face and we are supposed to believe his had a broken shoulder and didn’t say anything all the while crying about every other little thing?

I don’t know, I just do buy this… I think Webber is a big cry baby that has an excuse for everything that doesn’t go his way.

And even if he really did break his shoulder that just makes him even more of a douchebag. Here in America professional athletes are strictly forbidden to engage in outside sporting events or activities that might lead to injury, during the off season let alone during the active year!! That is put right in their contract. The fact that he rode a mountain bike at all during a race year is crazy!! That should be grounds for loss of pay and possible dismissal from the team!
Secondly that he only tells the world about this in a book he is trying to sell is so slimy and underhanded. Are you kidding me? Mark Webber is a total, utter, slimy, douche!!
