OH CRAP my kitty just went into HEAT!!!! Within a matter of 2hr's since I came home tonight at 7:30pm from working an extra job she was 'presenting' herself to my puppy!! I just took him outside and I could hear her doing that 'biatch in heat' meow from out there so it looks like she has an appointment this week with the vet . I thought it was around 6 months old before they could be fixed and go to 'that' stage so maybe my guess about her age was off a tad ? Maybe she was so small from being either the runt of the litter or from getting lost or abandoned so young?

Please Lord give me strength and also tell me why my dog wants to eat all the nasty crap outside and then pukes it up on my carpet and rugs???? This dog has ruined over $200 worth of rugs and trashed my hardwood floor, he will NOT be going back to Houston with me if I get the job I'm persueing with a local pd.

I adopted two kitties at about that age (male/female), my cousin who used to be a vet's assistant visited a couple of weeks later. The conversation went something like this:

Me: hardeehar, good golly! My kitty is getting a tad chubby around the middle, poor dear!
Cousin: your cat is pregnant
Me: Wot? nonono poor little dear has barely reached puberty! Too many tidbits of lovely chicken roast, surely?
Cousin: Your cat is pregnant.
Me: dragging girl kitty to vet... lahdidah, silly cousin!
Vet: Your cat is pregnant.

Thankfully my baby is not pregnant. She had a good nap on my lap today and let me scoop her up and lay her back down on the chair still purring and all happy. My dog and cat are the best of friends and sleep together so I have some tough choices to make very soon .

Oh I almost forgot to mention the two cats that I feed everyday, abandoned by the past tenant, so I'll be worrying about them aswell when I leave.

OK now I'm pissed!! My dog had been missing since before noon yesterday and after a 1/4 tank of gas, honking the horn while looking for him I give it one more try this morning after I get some light so I can see. So I wakeup 100+ people I'm sure crawling thru the hood honking and whistleing and finally give up. No sooner than I get out of my truck I look across the street, sounds of ruffling leaves and all, and it's Shithead running home??

I was actually beginning too think the local Chinese Buffet found him .

Shithead has been gone since Monday morning but I'm not surprised or broken. On a positive note I just built a 'kitty condo' right next to my bed out of my pet carrier and my puddy tat luv's it as she is crashed hard, now maybe I'll get some sleep for a change.

Thats true but I had come too the conclusion that he was not going with me anywhere else. I did my part and rescued him from the brink of starvation and I actually think he got himself a girlfriend, he beat me too it !!!

Travis aka Shithead is a Lab mix but mostly Lab imo because of his features but with my busy schedule and not having a fenced in yard or enough time too drain his energy it was inevitable. The boy just aint right!!!

Well well well guess who just came whimpering and scratching at my front door? Thats right Shithead himself so he now has a full belly and is warm (it has been raining all day and about 45 degree's) and will be put into lockdown just like an inmate for the night lol!
