We all know teams orders happen and will go unpunished; the only reason Ferrari got handed a $100,000 fine is because of the cynical nature in which the order were used. Jean Todt can do all the grandstanding about not allowing team orders to happen as he likes but it can not be punished because team orders are rife in the sport, if every team that used team orders had their points taken away for each race they used orders, Williams would be the 2011 world champions! Scrap team orders and be done with it, and this comes from a person who despises team orders!

2010 champion you mean or do you know something about the future we don't know?

And scrap team orders? Rather the ban of team orders, right?

I think if we punished all the teams for team orders in 2010, Redbull will still win. Which is why I appreciate the 2010 Champs very much.

F1fanUSA makes a interesting comment

"Let your team mate passthen hold up the other cars behind you"

Advancing a team mate should not be against the rules as long as there is numbers to prove your decision. IE lap time, champion points, tire wear....

A defensive team order should not be allowed. IE Hold up the cars behind you, crash to provoke the safety car, taking out other drivers

Favoritism should be punished

This is very hard to keep drivers name out of this

By holding up cars behind you I mean keep them from passing... not causing crashes!! Drivers hold up cars behind them strategically in every single race in F1. It’s part of the sport.

I agree that a team mate should fight as hard as possible for track position against an opponent, but I don't agree with anything more than that.

Yes I peered into my crystal ball! But if I told you I'd have to kill you! ;)

If the FIA are unable or unwilling to punish all teams that use team orders, then give rid of the rule, an unenforced rule is a useless rule, my opinions on team orders haven't changed but if it's not going to be enforced then get rid of the team orders ban and save all the outrage from fans about teams breaking the rules!

Can't believe this, but I agree with your conclusion. Either completely enforce the rule - which they've admitted they can't/wont do OR scrap the rule completely.

Crystal ball ... :hehe:

It had t happen at some point, I may not like team orders but I can see the logic of getting rid of the team orders ban, shame law enforcement don't see speeding in the same way, everyone does it so let's get rid of speed limits! :hehe:

That's two - amazing. Going for three, let me hear your opinion on "gorgeous, sexually promiscuous women who aren't choosy and don't want a relationship"

If it makes them happy to be that way, I'm all for it, each t their own! I don't make judgements on others chosen lifestyle!

Think I'd have to change the "aren't choosy" to "desperate" to work for me
