I think everything was previously calculated.

You need to come to terms with the fact that Vettel won the race fair and square, Ferrari made their call, and it didn't work out - end of story. What's more, even without the SC and even if there was a SC and Fernando didn't cover Mark, there is still no guarantee that Fernando could have hung on to his lead in the WDC. Everyone at Ferrari have accepted it, and the Tifosi are already focused on 2011.

If you keep up this line of thinking you'll be just like this guy:-
Image

Everybody accepted what happened at Singapore 2008. The few people that said that the race had been manipulated were discredited and treated as if they were crazy. That manipulation was for winning a race, now we’re talking about the WDC.
Webber was placed in the middle of the traffic and his options were definitely ruined unless a disaster occurred at the head of the race. I’m talking about accidents an retirements.
Thank you for sending your photography. I suppose you’re at the hair dresser. You have the face of a good intentioned but not especially intelligent person.

Jack with regards to my post above the massive ammout of co-operation invovled and the risk from a "being caught by the FIA" point of view on top of the fact that Schui could of been killed is just too much a stretch of the imagination to believe your theory is true.

In my opinion its the fact that they were worried about covering webber, saw his tries go and worried about Alonso's tire wear and just either misjudged the safty car pit stoppers or forgot about them

Gaz, do you Consider MS a conformist man? Do you suppose him satisfied been just one more on the grid? Do you think he has a greater expectative for himself into the future? Has he stopped before the idea of crashing on purpose anytime along his career? Did he feel that he was risking he’s and others life in many episodes of his career? Like when he almost sent Barrichello into the wall just for not being overtaken.
A man like him wants victory over any other thing and if he can’t get it, it’s so insane to suppose him feeling an enormous satisfaction giving or taking the title to others. Playing the key role in deciding who wins the WDC?
About Webber. He was in the middle of the traffic with a lot of drivers in front of him. His options were obviously and definitely ruined.

Noooo, DD, noooooo! :shuffleoff:

What are you saying?

What about you Gregg? I Thought Texans had a good couple of balls. Why don’t you want to talk anymore about tricky Mickey and tricky Nicky? Have you changed your onion?

Don't worry about me laddy and I honestly don't think you and I are on a 'first name basis', I'll let this one pass though. As far as your question is concerned I have a life other than F1, you should look into one aswell  .

here is radio transmissions from Ferrari's disastrous Strategy calls. Seems Alonso even insisted to the team to pit Massa first to try and get him ahead of Webber. Alonso was partly to blame for the strategy call it seems.
Lap 9: Stella warns Alonso that Webber is loosing rhythm after he touched the wall: "You have gained three tenths over Webber. Even Felipe is getting close"

Lap 12: Andrea Stella warns about the race situation, looks like everything is going fine: "Webber has stopped and Vettel is loosing time with Hamilton".
Alonso answers: "If you see that Felipe can overtake him in a lap ask him to pit".

Lap 14: Alonso asks about Massa's pit stop: "How did it go with Felipe?"
Stella answers: "He got out behind Webber".

Lap 15: Here comes the desition from the team that costed him the WDC: "Ok. Pit now"
Alonso: "Ok".
Team: "You'll come out close to Webber. Ahead of him"

Lap 17: Alonso asks: "What is the situation?"
Stella answers: "You have to pass the Renault, he doesn't have to stop. Then it's Rosberg ahead"

Lap 22: this is the radio transmission that we all heard when Stella tells Alonso he must pass Petrov

Interesting, looks like Ferrari didn't just miss Rosberg and Petrov then, but underestimated the difficultly in getting past. Make's the decision look slightly smarter that way though, as presumably they were expecting Webber to be able to pass Petrov and Rosberg and on the new tyres go on to leapfrog Alonso in the pitstop, they of course knew the redbull was a faster car than the Ferrari.

Also, where did you find the team radio? Is this just a one off bit of information, or do you use a site to find them regularly?

Sorry Vaptin, but UNBELIEVABLE.
“Lap 17: Alonso asks: What is the situation?
Stella answers: you have to pass the Renault, he doesn’t have to stop. Then it’s Rosberg ahead”
In a circuit like Abu Dhabi, where there’s almost impossible overtaking, they put Alonso behind Petrov and Rosberg and they knew the situation when they did it, because this conversation took place just after Alonso’s stopped. When they ordered Alonso to stop he was placed in a comfortable fourth place. Just what he needed to win the WDC.
UNBELIEVABLE

So you're saying that it is impossible for Ferrari to have simply made a mistake, but that is is possible that dozen factors all tied together in an elaborate plan to steal the WDC from Alonso by the Germans.

I think that MS simulated the accident and the Ferrari’s strategist took the wrong decision on purpose.

You are insane and just another conspiracy theorist, NASCAR needs you now to figure out why Jimmy Johnson won 5 straight titles :thumbdown: !!

I didn’t expect that from you. You felt me believe that you’ve seen the MS incident and agreed with me. It should be a wrong perception from my part.
It’s possible that I’m insane an just another conspiracy theorist, as it’s possible that you’re stupid.
I don’t follow the NASCAR. Don’t worry; I can’t say anything about that.

No i don't consider him a confirmist man, so if he was ask to crash on purpose risking his life, his reputation and his records i think he'd say no.

Hes possibly crashed on purpose in the past for his own personal gain there would be NOTHING to gain from him helping vettle.

Racing drivers of now are not like racing drivers of the days of Stirling Moss and Mike Hawthorn.

They are out for themselfs and to a lesser degree for a team Schumacher had nothing to gain from Vettle winning the WDC.

i dont see in any way Alonso being knowledgeable of the situation in order to choose the right pit stop. The team, HOWEVER... DID KNOW he would come out behind at least 2 cars that didnt need to pit. In fact, the team should have mentioned Webber and Massa came out behind those guys and that Alonso was going to need to pass them... BEFORE bringing him in!

So I agree with Jack Master on this bit.... it was an UNBELIEVEABLE screw up by Ferrari.

Whether the Schumacher crash was deliberate; and Rosberg, Schumacher, Webber and Alonso's strategist were assembled together to orchestrate the result.... kinda far fetched. But Schumacher's crash was silly. But again, I guess its up to Ferrari to open an investigstion if they feel they were robbed.

On day 0, people gave Alonso and Vettel as favorites for the title. Myself included. The fact that it went so close and to the last race, no matter who was to win it, meant there has to be something out of the ordinary to tip the scale. I guess the weird crash, and the weird situtations with the slower cars was the thing that made Ferrari flop just like Vettel flopped under a safety car in Hungary.

It wasn’t me but you who put his first name at the end of his post. Don’t worry, I’ll keep the distances with you, as I expect you do with me.
I don’t care about your life and mine is my business, not yours.
How do you used to call it in Texas when the entire village’s people took a man and hanged him after giving him a good lesson?
Oh! The old good times.

PD: About DD, I suppose he’s the boss. I hadn’t checked my mail.

Now who is being stupid  ? You might want to read this, which I assume will be your first time and I take your remarks about Texas/Texans to not only be ignorant but personal.
