We had that this season though, didn't we? Redbulls in Turkey, Webber and Hamilton (twice), Massa-Hamilton, all went unpunished. Shumacher got away with a lot to, Kob's moves in Japan were deemed ok,

Yes but that is only a few examples, there has also been some serious inconsistency as well; in my opinion the rules are still too strict for drivers to really race 100%. Plus there's still the problem of dirty air coming off the rear wing not allowing cars to follow closely, will the double diffuser and F-Duct ban make a difference?

Hopefully,

I think the tracks also make a difference though, if Hulkeng burg had grabbed pole in Abu Dhabi we probably would've seen those who didn't pass him at the start stuck behind him until the pitstops.

That's why I'm lobbying for the introduction of a ban of Mexican food 24 hrs before race day.

They still don't get it..
No passing is because of the FIA sticking it's ignorant nose into the rules of car development.
FIA out = passing in..
It's real simple.
No engine restriction rules, just weight per cubic inch.
Active suspension allowed.
Refueling back.
Ground effects allowed.
Moveable wings allowed.
Now were talking F1 with overtaking and technical achievment.

Totally agree with all that..
This is what all fans want.

But this could also means we will come back to the era where Schumacher was dominating the entire season.
A Young driver in the most competitive machine will keep claiming pole and 1st podium finish.
Then he will claim the championship long before the season end.
Then again FIA have to think to do the conversion :D
