Well you keep reminding us all how you've been following F1 since the dawn of time, while others, like myself have only been following since 2007. Does that make me any less of a fan than you are? I know Gaz thinks so.:wavey:

If you can point out EXACTLY where I mentioned ones lack of time following F1 makes them less of a fan I'll buy you a glass of warm milk but until then you better get your facts straight  . Have you ever once thought that ones experience may give them a better insight as too the workings of F1 and not just being able to ramble off statistics from the past 4 seasons? Whats the best thing about life? It's experience and hopefully in 20+yr's you will realize that.

I know a thing or two.

Nobody ever said you didn't but I know a thing or three :banghead: .

Formula One is constantly in my thoughts and dreams and it's all I think about. Anyone see my article about the Red Bull Junior Team? :P

Don't get out much I see :hehe: !

So anyway instead of stinking this topic up anymore you should just pm me, I'll get back to you asap :hehe: .

You never have. Relax bro. :coffee::wavey:

I never said you DID. Which is why I was asking you - what is your opinion? Does the fact I have 4 years to your 20 (notice I said 30 earlier :whip: ) mean that I'm less of a fan than you? It doesn't matter, you've answered it.

I've never attacked you and never will, but now you have to apologise.

Hey remember what you were so adamantly telling Jack Master earlier to do :whip: . I was just kidding about the pm ok  and NO you or anyone else here is not less of a fan just because they may have less years following F1  .

:morepopcorn:

i'm still waiting for someone to come up with some ultra reliable proof that it was all a scheme to perpetuate Bernie's investments
That'll make a good movie. Unfortunately in such a movie, they'd have beheaded Michael :irked:

And on to another interesting mistery:
How come Red Bull makes more $$ than Monster, when Monster tastes FAR better??
in fact, who on earth likes Red Bull??
That's a mistery i'd like solved.

I hate Mother. I liked Rockstar Energy better, until I thought somehow that my consumption of Red Bull would help pay Vettel's salary.

Ok, Im gonna get this thread back on-topic. The championship wasnt stolen. Ferrari were tricked, but not only by Webbers early stop. Here are some of the factors that affected their decision to pit Alonso

*Webbr stops because he complains his tyres are going off
*Massa pits but doesnt jump webber
*Webber passes Alguersuari and is 0.8sec faster than Webber
*Ferrari call in Alonso, believing Vettel and Hamilton will pit because at this point they are also slow
*Vettel and Hamilton pass through the graining process and pick up speed
*(Hirohide Hamashima- Bridgestone)Was concerned about the strategy of starting on options and pitting early. The fronts grain first, then the rears, then the car balances. Also a midfield team with good speed would be able to stay ahead. This is what happened.
*According to 2009 data degredation was about to stop when Alonso pitted
* Last year's Ferrari was slow at this race last year and the data was unreliable(they should have looked at other fast teams data)
*Finally. In Brazil, McLaren had huge degredation, not so in Abu Dabi. So they stayed out against Ferrari's expectations.

So it wasnt only covering Webber that blew ferrari's strategy. They were misled by Vettel and Hamilton riding out the tyre graining.

* Red Bull knows this track where overtaking is impractical.

* Webber is behind Alonso after 1st lap.

* Vettel position is almost secure until end of race because they know this track where overtaking is impractical.

* But they will lose the driver’s title anyway if Alonso stays in his current position.

* So they decided to pit Webber since he also can’t claim the title in his current position.

* Ferrari afraid Webber will be faster with fresh tire n leapfrog Alonso so they call him to pit.

* This is what Red Bull wants. Alonso is stuck behind the already-pitted Rosberg and Petrov because they know this track, overtaking is impractical.

* Alonso can’t get his desired 4th position so the title goes to Vettel.

* Remember, they know this track where overtaking is impractical.
