Uh, no - I'm not feeling sad that we haven't had a fatality in years and sure hope it won't happen anytime soon.
Just imagine what would happen in this day and age of litigation: Many venues would just stop running F1 races because the (then) mandatory insurance policy would become unaffordable and the public at large would turn against races - this on top of critics that cite environmental reasons.
