You guys might all be sick of hearing from me about Vettel now, but Vettel-mania has me wrapped. :wavey: If you thought I was crazy and dillusioned before he won the title, wait till you see me now! :POne thing I noticed throughout the season was that he appeared to change his helmet designs a few times. I could count a standard one, a chrome one, and a Japanese one. Little did I know that he has changed his helmet design at nearly every race. This once again proves the fact that I support the most coolest driver ever.

My favourite has to be the one he used at Suzuka, followed closely by his German and Hungarian one. :cloud9:

I also like how he dedicated the Brazil practice and qually design to his race engineer. The only driver I knew who did this was Barichello, but he only did it a few times. It's also well known Rossi does it in Moto GP, but I'm not a fan of his designs.

We also had Hamilton turning up with a diamond encrusted helmet. That was cool!

hey dont worry big azza :wavey: !, im a crazy hamilton fan, but lets not go on to that lol :hehe:

My fav is his initial one. The one with the can opener and stuff.
Dont really like the newer ones with all the glitter and weird colors............ must be i'm too old for Sebastian Vettel's target demographics.

Personally I've always preferred a driver to keep a design as their visual "signature". All the great drivers have seemed to stay true to their helmet designs throughout their careers... more recently adopting sponsor colours into their design.

But Vettel....well I simply don't know what his helmet is.

His singapore helmet is the coolest, the one with the red bull tab is kind of corny.

I have been looking for models of his helmet on ebay, they also have some old F1 car models

My favorite is still Hiedfelds, all black plain and simple

I keep that view too even though the Brazil one looks pretty good.

The Abu Dhabi one looked cool under lights and I like the Japan one for what it stood for.

Some of the others though, are just sad commercialism. :banghead:

I think it represents Red Bull as how they want to be seen. And I like to see some of the variety that Seb brings with his helmets to each race. And I guess he's put an end to the superstition that Martin Brundle alludes to that by changing your helmet brings bad luck. I remember they tried to raise this issue when Schuey changed his helmet to red back in the Ferrari days.

I remember when I used to race karts and I really wanted to have my helmet painted like the top of R2D2's lid in Star Wars. Still do actually, unfortunately I just don't race karts anymore.

He's a helmet ho! :hehe: Some cool designs there, most of them are pretty bold and not too convolute. I dig that. I'm a junkie for old-style racing helmets...

My favorite is Singapore/Abu Dhabi helmet because it shines nicely! I was surprised to see how many different helmet designs he had this season!

Personally, I'm not a big fan of all the helmet changes. When they do the on-board views it's nice when you instantly know who you're "on board" with because you recognize the helmet. It also helps one recognize instantly who is who at races. But maybe that's just me.

I think, the boy is young and probably doesn't have a house or a wife to spend his money on, so let him collect helmets if that's his thang. Other drivers have the more expensive hobby of collecting cars....
