Easy Lewis will be champion, nothing to do with the fact I'm very biased .

If he is NOT get ready lad (lamb) because I'm gonna tuant you every chance I get !!

With so many new things on tap, I don't foresee anything revolutionary like the F-duct this year and certainly Red Bull McLaren and Ferrari will again be strong. Mercedes will make a herculean effort, and will be looking for an equivalent leap. They need to begin justifying their investment. There will also be major influxes cash coming into some teams especially Sauber. The aero formula will be simplified with the banning of the DD and F-duct and greater emphasis will be placed on tire wear balance and braking. Pirelli is already warning the drivers their intent to introduce finicky rubber.

I believe the winning constructor next year will have a Mercedes engine and KERS but I do hope we get more than just 3 constructors capable of winning races. That was in my opinion the only flaw to this year's competition.

The WDC... it's foolish to speculate now, but we'll have the usual suspects I'm sure. In the beginning of the season Bernie predicted Vettel would be the 2010 WDC, the old coot certainly picked the winner...

Who says anything about banning me, moi?

I have been watching not only F1 but all other motorsports for way too long to make such rash/lambish decisions or predictions , you could learn something from me if you want too .

texmix may be involved but I have already disclosed that I am no master, so .

It will be Lewis next year - loads of reasons why.....

Closely followed by Vettel, Kubica...

and maybe Jens, maybe Alonso

then Massa, Webber, Schumi, Nicco

Providing of course the cars work.

Ones to watch(if they're racing) ....

Kobi, Suthil, Petrov(soft spot)

[CarBore]

I was giving it some more thought and I'm not confided merc kers vs others will be as huge as people are making it out to be. Most of the 09 kers advantage was kers cars vs non-kers cars. If everyone has it even if day the Renault is 5-10 up down it's nothing compared to the old 80hp difference. Aero superiority ruled in 09 via brawn RBR. With all top teams have a workable kers system it's going to be more of the same

[Denthúl]

Kubica.

I'll give you my real prediction after the new cars have been tested.

Retitle the thread to "Why Lewis will win the WDC in 2011" since we have so many members with a crystal ball .

[racechick]

The question was "early pics?" We picked. Simples

Petrov(soft spot)

did this soft spot grow with each lap Alonso was held behind him?

[myownalias]

I'm gonna take a punt on Nico Rosberg, if Mercedes can make a decent front running car, Nico has impressed me massively this season, blowing his illustrious team mate out the water. Given decent machinery I believe he could be world champion; which depends on whether Ross Brawn can work his magic and create a world beating car!

Maybe you can grow a fu man chu in the off season. I think that role is way more dignified for you than Mr. Miyagi.
