As I mentioned in the opening post I know Cosworth has a long and proud history, by new, I meant back to F1... They have been out for a few years now. I just remember Cosworth being huge back in the ChampCar days and maybe even back in the early 80s and was wondering if they were having trouble because they were just back to F1.
The lack of power was clearly evident many times this season with the front runners just walking away on the straights. I had honestly forgotten that Williams was using Cosworth power, so that does make up for it a bit.
Thanks to those who pointed out, that could be aero, lack of F-Duct, the rest of the powertrain etc.
...Didn't seem too bad what they did in their first season in F1.
Don't know if you're referring to Williams or Cosworth but Williams Grand Prix Engineering Ltd. has been racing F1 since 1977. And Cosworth built its first F1 engines in 1967. Both have won multiple WDCs and WCCs so this was hardly the first season for either.
