If I owned a team i'm not sure I would trust him with one of my cars
He's fun to watch at times,dangerous others.Yes it would be good but is anyone willing to take the risk.

tbh i would, his second half of the season was really good!
and he finished higher then petrov in the WC

yea I would sign him, lits face it I am sure he has made sauber some money this year.

I don't think Kobayashi is particularly dangerous. I'd sign him instantly, given the chance. I think he's capable of winning races, maybe even of challenging for titles. Only time (and luck with cars) will tell.

He can have Massa's seat at Ferrari, I turned into a massive fan after Suzuka, seriously though I think he's a talented driver, but he just needs to wait for his chance.

He proved to be very good from day 1, so add me to the list.

I would like him in a better car but maybe not next year; maybe 2012 onwards, give him another year to mature; he has slowly matured this season; he was being sensible today, not giving away positions easily but not making rash moves when he knows the position was lost, the Sauber was poor in Abi Dhabi. Yes he has had a lot of retirements but how many of those have been with reliability issues rather than crashes, and of his finishes, he has scored in all but two of them, not so bad for a team thrown together!

Hmmm, thinking about it, i quite liked Kobayashi at Sauber this year. He was the fiery racer who was part of the underdog team, and almost always proved good entertainment to watch and follow, and I would quite like it to stay that way

I agree that Massa needs to go, Ferrari need a solid number 2 driver to aid Alonso and to help them in the constructors championship. For me, Massa just didn't do this. Ferrari basically need another Barrichello.

Well, it depends on if this really was just a blip recovery year for Massa, he's shown potential to be fast, just needs to find consistency which I hoped will come with time. But if he doesn't perform next year, he really has to go.

Koby gets a lot of TV coverage, and good talk ups from the commentators. I think any team would do well to have him. Just make sure to get some sponsors on the car to make your money worth it.

He should stick with Sauber for the moment, they have come on-song in the latter half of this season and could be worth watching next year as they will be going into the winter on a stable platform, unlike last year when Ned Flanders was doing the dirty.

I would like to see Kobayashi in a Ferrari but I just think I'd prefer to see him in a car with a Japanese engine.
