Congratulations to Sebastian and Red Bull. Thoroughly deserved. I would much have preferred it to be Mark but I can't fault the team or the world champion here. They were fantastic all weekend and this is the reward. :)

Hopefully next season will deliver even more excitement and possibly more title contenders!

Have to point out just how scary it was when Liuzzi hit Schumacher. A few inches over and that would have been certain death for the German. The fact that he was seen walking down the pit lane laughing and smiling is something that I simply will never be able to comprehend. Formula One drivers are on a higher level than I will ever be able to reach. I felt sick just seeing that...

Pit stops of Alonso and Webber killed me.The biggest mistake of Ferrari, maybe?I feel so bad now i cant even say anything about the race. For the next week i will try not to remember it.Now just gonna read a book i dont actually want to because i have to read it.If you are upset by Vettel's championship-cant believe i am typing that- try to go this way......

GOSH HOW COULD HE WIN WHEN IT WAS NOT SO POSSIBLE FEW RACES AGO :banghead::banghead:

Okay guys dont upset yourself think that this spoilt guy is so happy now,why should you upset yourself because of him?

Still: :banghead::banghead:

Cant tell who is more of a sore loser, you or Alonso.

Probably you.

Lol.

Some people are losers in real life so they try to be cool on the internet. You are one of them.

Yes that was very very scary. Michael cheated Death right there in Abu DHabi.

It also proves to show how vulnerable these guys are, no matter how strong the car is, their heads are simply there for the taking. I wish there was a way to enforce closed cockpits in order to not worry about incidents such as these. We could have lost a driver today, honestly.

Oh the look on Hamilton's face when on the podium

What look was that? He looked happy as far as I could tell.
You have some sort of hate issue with the guy it seems.

Oh i'm sorry but did you miss when they made it the podium how unhappy Hamilton looked :(

And if you read my posts you should know by now that I don't like LH.

If it's a crime than arrest me for it

Must have missed that bit but he was laughing and joking with Vettel and Button in the room behind the podium, and then again on the podium itself.
And no, cant say I have followed your posts, but then if you are a Hamilton hater I have probably ignored them in the past.
No crime, you are entitled to your opinion of course

Oh, by all means I hate no one. I just dislike him and never wished him any bad luck unlike Alonso haters who find every and any way to bash him and criticize him

Its tit for tat on this forum between the Hamilton or Alonso haters. In fact most of the front runner drivers have their haters who will always find something to criticize them for. Some will have more good reason than others of course.

Nail on the head. Both think the other are the evilest of evils and both are as pathetic as each other, not fans, just haters of each i should add. Can you please come on here more often? :hehe: , i must add though, ive already seen bad sportsmanship from SOME ferrari fans on here and of course alonso making gestures at petrov after the race, in this sole instance you should take it on the chin like men as shown by jenson and lewis who immediately congratulated vettel and were visibly genuinely happy for him. All i can see at the moment is people turning on Mclaren or Lewis in spite nd being bad losers, that said again mclaren fans and lewis fans shouldnt wind them up cause they also lost as much as alonso did, no prizes for second place.

Big Azza's probably passed out somewhere in a bar or a street somewhere.

Vettel should thank Schumacher.

Disagree, he should thank himself, the team for giving him that car, for keeping his moral up and supporting him particularly after Turkey, Mark Webber in a way. And Chris Dyer I guess, for pitting Alonso.

You tell me. If it was not for that safety car maybe things could be very different.

Hamilton had a very slim chance of winning and Button was out of it. So their reactions might have been different from being 1st or 2nd with a very serious shot at the WDC.
Alonso's hand gesture was unprofessional (no one is denying that) but others have been there ever since F1 started.
But to use this incident to keep bashing Alonso, is what makes it annoying.
I mean there is nothing that Alonso can do that won't upset some people and when it comes to their driver they have a different set of rules.

AND HERE IS WHY I GET SO BLOODY ANNOYED AT YOU ALL SOMETIMES, its exactly, EXACTLY, E.X.A.C.T.L.Y the same for hamilton, all fans think they are so hard done by. but its only when your a fan of a no particular driver that you notice how they all receive it in equal amounts, Hamilton gets bashed as much as Alonso does if not then more. Ive seen people call Hamilton an arse kiss for saying alonso could be a great, cause they thought he was trying to get a ferrari drive, what a pathetic excuse for f1 fans. All the top drivers in f1 get slated, and whats more hamilton still had a chance, and he congratulated vettel first, then joked around in the pre-podium room for ages, Alonso waved fists at a driver doing his job and walked straight past him in parc ferme. when your driver is in the wrong learn to take it on the bloody chin instead of passing it off onto hamilton or vice versa. Alonso was a bit of a bad sport today.

Great race and who knows what might have been is there was no SC but too late to speculate now so a big congrats to Vettel.

Schumi would have won, Liuzzi in second Trulli's broken rear wing in 3rd. Anyone who thinks differently is a lunatic

Fernando Alonso has no complaints with Ferrari tactics after defeat

Fernando Alonso refused to criticised his Ferrari team or Renault's Vitaly Petrov after he missed out on the world championship on Sunday.

Alonso could only finish in seventh place in Abu Dhabi, allowing the race winner Sebastian Vettel to take the drivers' title by a four-point margin.

"It was a tough race, really difficult," said Alonso after the race at the Yas Marina circuit.

"I lost one position at the start and then we saw problems with the soft tyres and we tried to cover for [Mark] Webber.

"It was a choice between [covering for] Webber and [Niko] Rosberg and we covered for Webber. This is a sport, sometimes you win, sometimes you lose.

"[I have] no complaints about strategy. After the race it's always easy to see the best strategy. It was a very difficult call I think."

The Spaniard also had no complaints with the performance of Petrov, despite failing to get past the Renault driver for 40 laps, and appearing to gesture to the Russian driver after climbing out of his car following the end of the race.

"I tried to pass him once and he tried to protect [himself] and was very aggressive and he drove well without mistakes," added Alonso. "We will try again next year."

I'll say it again: Alonso's hand gesture was unprofessional, no one is denying that.
But I admit it when my guy does something bad. Is it the same for everyone else? I don't think so.
Go back to the section of this thread (post-race part) and see how people where bashing Alonso.
But to call a driver names or wish him bad luck is not my thing.
