There's something about Ralf Shumacher and Giancarlo Fisichella, a sort of symmetry. Both were once tipped for the top, both ended up in good teams who got to the point of winning just at the point where their team-mates overshadowed them. They're both now on a downward trajectory, but can still drive an F1 car fast and consistent enough to provide meaningful testing data and be there when the cars further up fall by the wayside, and their experience is unquestioned. They're both out of contract, so what do you think will happen to them in '08?

One of them will end up at Force India partnering Sutil, who will make huge leaps up the grid for the '09 season (probably under a different name).

^^since when.

I just think both drivers will be without a seat next year.
Theres no point suggesting that they will go to Super Aguri and Force India, would you go back in terms of driving seats.

I think Ralf will go to DTM, just like Mika did, and Fisi will do whatever he fancies.

That can probably be considered offensive. And it's not a case of not having a sense of humour because the joke is not funny.

I wouldn't say offensive. Borderline, yes.

If Alonso goes back to Renault, Fisichella will stay so Alonso gets his so-badly-wanted No. 1 status and Fizzy acts as his highly paid spear carrier and continues as Pat Symonds' "cattle-prod" subject.
