Wouldn't really call people fickle because of that. Red Bull have had the best car all seasons, yet look at the drivers standings - After 18 races, Alonso is ahead of them in the 2nd best car, whilst Hamilton is not far behind in the 3rd best car (and neither driver has been error free this season). That is proof enough that Red Bull having the fastest car will not necessarily translate into a 1-2 finsh for them at every race.
I will wait till after Abu Dhabi to requote my posts pre-brazil which ask why everyones so adamant its Alonsos title to walk away with, when the points gap is so small, and the red bull have the best car. Because quite frankly the fickleness of F1 fans took a new low after korea.
