Do people think that in the situation Seb 1, Mark 2, Fernando 3/4 that Seb won't move out of the way? Everyone talks about RBs loyalty to Vettel, but don't you think he will show the same loyalty

We'll have to wait to know that. I'm not sure, specially because of all the fire between Vettel and Webber. But If the team asks him to give way, I think he will.

No he doesn't need to be told. He's a team player, as he suggested before the Brazillian Grand Prix and as he said in the press-conference. I really don't think he has to be told. I think Rocky will regularly tell him where Webber's at and where Alonso is. If Alonso starts closing the gap, Vettel might drop back and act as a buffer between Alonso and Webber.

But there will be no team orders. Vettel would do anything for his team, so I really don't think anything is in question. I think there is a greater chance of Webber pulling over on the side of the road to allow Alonso through to win the championship, than Vettel refusing Webber the championship.... :whip:

Did that make sense?

Redbull need McLaren to be strong here and force Alonso into P5

Bud!? Really!? :ahahah:

Oh man I love you like my brother! Glad to see someone else on the Vettel-train!!!! :woohoo::grouphug:

Red Bull just need to make sure both cars stay ahead of Alonso. Whether that's a 1-2 with Alonso 3rd or whether Alonso is P5 and then that suits Vettel....

How about this scenario:
SV leads MW and FA is closing in on MW in third. 10 laps to go. Should SV let MW by and hold up FA to secure the title for RB? Or should he stay ahead until almost the end of the race in hopes that something happens to FA, however at the risk of FA overtaking MW and thus winning the title since there's no opportunity for a position swap between the RB drivers anymore?

And an extension to the above scenario:
Let's say 10 laps before the end of the race RB/SV decide to let MW by so that SV can play rear gunner and defend from FA. Now, a few laps later FA's engine expires, so there's no need for SV to defend anymore. Should/will MW return the favor and let SV by again and thus, SV wins the WDC?

Aren't I evil with those scenarios? :twisted::hehe:

Decisions, decisions - I wouldn't want to be in Horner's shoes
But I'm sure if possible at all, he'll be able to shoehorn SV into the title... :hehe:

Depending on the car advantage i think Redbull should be able to cover any threat from FA so wont need to hold him up so to speak, I believe that in your scenarios SV will pull aside on the very last lap on the pit straight, just incase FA does DNF. But all this can be overcome by Mark by just Qualifying ahead of SV something he hasn't done for a while.

Yeah, but that would risk the title to fall into FA's hands if he passes MW while SV stays in the lead.

IF he is able to, I dont think he will have the car to match the RB's there, let alone overtake one. :D

You never know. I'm simply laying out some scenarios that RB will have to think about ahead of the race and have some plans for.

Ok what about this, In your scenerio 10 laps to go SV slows down to let Webber by because FA is harrying the back of him, but Alonso tries to overtake both and there is a 3 way crash leaving 4th place Lewis Hamilton to inherited the race lead and WDC
