Can someone please throw Massa in the Renault next year, I think he needs a change of scene big time. I couldn't believe his performance in Brazil as he usually dominates it up the front. I know all efforts are behind Alonso but come on, surely he could have done a lot better than that. Its not that I'm complaining too much cause I want Mark to win but what a waste of a car.

You can almost see the upset emotional lines coming through his helmet since the German GP and it seems to be getting worst each race. And then everytime I see him get interviewed he's always talking about how he could be winning the championship. Well prove you can run up the front first mate. This act is really beginning to tire and he should jump ship now and partner Kubica at Renault as he would be up against a fast driver who doesn't seem to issue team orders, he is just a competitive racer. Massa needs to prove himself again as a front runner otherwise he is just proving that his emotions get too much in the way of his pace and a front running car is being wasted to the fans.

Ferrari need to get someone who's not so emotional to partner Alonso cause they should know that they are going to be number two. Seeing as how Williams are playing their usual silly bugger tactics of signing drivers, I bet Willi Weber is ringing his old mates at the Scuderia saying Hulkenberg would be happy to learn from Alonso next year and then become the future once Alonso has had enough. Alonso must be loving life but surely Ferrari would also love to be in contention for the constructors title too.

Can someone please throw Webber out of Red Bull as well? And Button out of McLaren?

I believe Hulkenberg to Ferrari next year is a good bet. They approached him to replace Massa when he got injured last year. I would be very happy if this is the case.

Driver changes next year:

Mark Webber From: Red Bull To: Oblivion
Vitaly Petrov From: Renault To: Virgin
Felipe Massa From: Ferrari To: Renault
Sebastien Buemi From: Torro Rosso To: Red Bull
Nico Hulkenberg From: Williams To: Ferrari
Bruno Senna From: Hispania To: Lotus

I know this is worthy of perhaps a separate thread, but I definitely agree Massa and Hulkenburg moves are on next year.

4 now. I don't know. This isn't like me. :crying:

His comments before the Brazillian GP just shitted me tbh. I'll talk about it in another thread.

Can Renault afford Massa?

Webber to oblivion??? :banghead::banghead::banghead:

Go Mark!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And Buemi to replace him?? More like Buemi to oblivion, done nothing in 2 years, next please. At least Mark qualified on the first two rows of the grid in his first couple of years in a average Jaguar.

I agree about his comments before the Brazil GP, just get on with the job, Mark. But he's definitely a proven front runner now. He deserves respect and a very fast car next year.

Yep go Webber for the next race, if he wins the title great. Felipe is as good as fired as I think the damage is already done.

agreed. I think the biggest one losing out in Massa's poor form is Rob Smedley. I love this guy as a personality who frequently comes on the radio with some great words of encouragement and hopefully he gets a new young charge to bring the other Ferrari further up in the points.

Webber drove a fantastic race. I expected him to fade away but his pace was fantastic, he was definitely keeping Vettel on his toes. Surprised me a bit, I thought Vettel will simply run away when he's at the front. The Safety Car messed things up for Webber. And he was always getting unnecessary stick from the backmarkers who were horrifying in this race.

Oh yeah...this thread is about Massa. Well, I can't blame Massa. I salute him. If the team don't give a sh*t about you, what comes around goes around. That car will be a waste this season and hopefully next season (If he stays).

Hmm, how about this: Webber quits Red Bull after winning the WDC and joins Ferrari to support his buddy Alonso. Massa goes to Red Bull so now Vettel has a toy to play around with :hehe:

Nice way to keep talking about Webber and stay on topic!:wavey:

The shortest answer is Webber would be of no benefit to Ferrari because of his age, and his view about being treated as a number 2 driver is what's pissed me off about him.

Was Kovalainen of benefit to McLaren because of being younger? Nope. Ferrari needs a reliable driver to back up Alonso, that gets along with him, Webber's perfect for them. The situation at Red Bull I think it's more about the incoherences we've talked about, plus the fact I think he never liked Vettel - wasn't there some fireworks back when Vettel was at STR? So Webber might hate the idea of playing second fiddle to Vettel, but wouldn't mind doing it to Alonso.

The other possible choice for Ferrari, were they to drop Massa, is Kubica, another friend of Alonso's; but then you have the problem of Kubica being God-driver material. However, if well managed, I could see that duo crunching about everyone in the field - even Hamilton and Button, were those four to have equal cars.
