While there are other mathematical possibilities, it looks as if what Alonso needs to do to win the championship is to beat both the McLaren drivers, and one of the Red Bull drivers.

My prediction is that Di Grassi will be the champ.

My predition: Vettel wins pole: Vettel moves over late to let Webber get 1st. !st-Webber 2nd-Vettel 3rd-Alonso Webber new champion.
Who knows?!!?!?!?!?! The only way Alonso can beat the RBs is if one gives out.

Or Alonso coudl be the be the class of the field the entire weekend? I do like your scenario though  .

Anyone want to take a guess which team will be setting the pace for the AD track? From the last races, it seems like it will be either Ferrari or RB with McL chasing behind. Personally I dont have enough knowledge about which car suits which track, so it would be welcomed with a good assessment.

Picture this scenario:
SV wins Abu Dhabi, FA ends up fifth and MW places second.
All three drivers would end up with 256 points!
SV would win based not on more wins, or second or third places (all tied with FA), but because he has 3 fourth places vs. FA's 2. :yikes:

I basically see 3 possibilities:

RB 1-2, Alonso still in WDC points, If Vettel is leading he lets Webber through on the final lap to give Webber the title,

RB can't dominate with a 1-2 and Alonso takes the Title,

A McLaren gets in a RB ferrari sandwich and Webber and Vettel duke it out for the title

Personally Id rather see option 3. Of course if the Germany swap hadn't taken place, Vettel wouldn't need to give way to block an Alonso victory.

With the car they have had plus all the interal issues and reliability issues I'd really like that put away and just have the 2 RB drivers with whoever wins takes the title.
