The stories about Hamilton courting an invitation from Ferrari just won't seem to go away.

Because people like you keep initiating threads like this...

Having allowed himself to be photographed in Korea like this:

So it is said that if you know your enemies and know yourself, you can win a hundred battles without a single loss.
If you only know yourself, but not your opponent, you may win or may lose.
If you know neither yourself nor your enemy, you will always endanger yourself. -Sun Tzu.

I believe the title of the thread you meant to post is; Ferrari courting Hamilton.

EDIT: Oh yeah... more bait posts.

You know, it's funny but that moment last race when he crashed out and was seen walking back through the pits?
I thought it was odd that he walked right through the Ferrari pits.
Maybe there something to it. :yikes:

Well said Tony!

+1 Although I do not dismiss the idea that he MIGHT drive for Ferrari someday, this is F1 were the most unimaginable things happen year in and year out. Oh and I also voted yes that I like Hamilton :) .

Yet another media story that touches on this:-

I like this quote from Hamilton about if Fernando wins this year:-
"deserve to walk in the company of the great names of the past"

Why would he want to go to Ferrari??

Never say never in F1 but really, it's not going to happen while Alonso is there and would only realistically happen if McLaren failed to give Hamilton a truly championship capable car for season upon season.

Even if Lewis did want to go there(which I doubt will ever happen-he had a car well off the pace most off last season and a car 3rd by quite some for much of this season) Alonso wouldnt allow it.

Why would he want to go to Ferrari??

At the moment you mean right? I'm sure numerous reasons could be mentioned and in all reality, if you want to admit it or not, I doubt there is not one single driver on the grid who would not like to return to them or drive for them. Just because you despise Ferrari or the thought of your beloved Hamilton driving for your archenemy in all reality you should know by now that ANYTHING is possible in F1 :) .

I'm not taking a personal jab at your opinion though and hope you see that. As I mentioned previously I cannot see this happening anytime soon but the thought is not beyond becoming a reality.

Not going to happen. Alonso and Hamilton are like oil and water.

Hamilton in those pictures is simply checking out the Ferrari equipment like any competitive driver does with teams who seem to have a better car. End of.

People said Alonso to Ferrari would not happen either for many reasons and now we see where Alonso is.

I don't know if Hamilton will end at Ferrari or not, in my opinion I don't see it happening any time soon, I would still feel in debt with Ron Dennis for all McLaren did for him in his career if I were him.

Will it ever happen? I'd say it is most like it will than not, he is still very young and with many years ahead in F1, aside from being outright quick.

Alonso at Ferrari not letting it happen? bullpoo. I am sure he would welcome the challenge as long as the team does not screw his chances like McLaren did. (do not even dare to compare to Massa, look where he has been all season).

Do I like Hamilton? Yes, he is sometimes a bit hot headed in driving but it is refreshing because we need variety of pilot styles among the top ones and he is great for spectacle for not driving like a robot.

I dont think he will leave til he gets this

Other then that, I dont see Ferrari drivers having many outside sponsorships, i mean right now Hamilton has like reebox, hilton and other endorsements, I dont see Massa or Alonso with any thing outside of ferrari, but of course they are more spanish/latin so i dont know.

Nah its ok I know you're not taking a jab. I agree anything's possible. So yes it might. But I think it highly unlikely. I think you're wrong about wanting to drive for Ferrari. Lewis would much prefer to beat them. I think Lewis's ideal scenario would be in a McLaren thats fast but maybe not the class of the field, good enough and then let him make the difference. just my opinion of course

I agree that Lewis is very happy with his team and most likely will be there for a very long time or possibly for his entire career. It's just so hard to imagine him not leaving at sometime in his career, only time will tell but I would also luv to witness his longterm commitment to McLaren as its something we very seldom see anymore.
