If the Hulk gets his socks blown off, the top three WDC qualifiers come in their starting order, and Alonso can't get past Kubica, the new WDC tally will look like this:

Alonso - 241
Webber - 238
Vettel - 231
Hamilton - 225

Abu Dhabi still would be a 3-driver dog fight.

EDIT:
My mistake. I was confusing the position of the Ferrari teammates on the grid.

EDIT II:
Actual WDC standings:
Alonso - 246
Webber - 238
Vettel - 231
Hambone - 222

Good clean and fair racing by red bull. One of those drivers deserve this champioship. Even though I hope Lewis still pulls it off, its looking increasingly unlikely...but 'things' happen

If LH wins the title in Abu Dhabi, I'll eat my favorite Warner Elements with Bliss wireless bra 8-)

Congratulations to Red Bull for the WCC. On the other hand, they just handed the WDC to Alonso on a silver plate.

My thoughts exactly, although it widely depends where both RBR pilots are in qualifying next weekend, and if Vettel is first and Webber second and Alonso third, will he let Webber overtake him for the title? It will be very interesting to see, luckily it is next weekend!

Well they played fair and didnt stuff one of their drivers. If that gives Alonso a hollow victory, so be it, good luck to Alonso if thats what he wants, and to Farrari as they seem happy to win on those terms.
Next week if the same situation is repeated I dont imagine Vettel will need team orders to help Webber, but he's still in it at the moment. If they'd switched drivers
a) its cheating
b) what if Webber has a crash or engine failure next week?

I don't care who is cheating or not, because obviously it doesn't matter, I just want Webber to win this WDC. And Vettel is not winning it unless Alonso DNFs, in which case it wouldn't matter for him whether he won or got 2nd today. This result would make a difference for Webber, it doesn't for Vettel.

Thing is Red Bull as a team should maximize chances for both titles.

Not having switched have just made for theirselves an uphill to get the driver championship, which is usually the title people care about.

Saying Alonso cheated it is as always blaming him for everything that happens.

Ferrari issued team orders, not him, he complained, as he has to, if his team does not let him race his teammate and/or if his teammate is slower constantly and just making things difficult for him against the other championship contenders, which is what Vettel is doing to Mark Webber right now btw (making things difficult for him to win the title favouring other team's contender).

In any case if Mark Webber engine fails it will be the same outcome next race if Red Bull would have let Webber pass or not for this race.

Should Red Bull have focused on Webber for this race they would practically have grabbed both championships in one strike.

Should they lose the drivers championship next race they will look like poor management, at least, that's my opinion.

In any case my congratulations to Red Bull for getting the Constructors Championship.

Whatever  !! I'm sure if the WDC shoe was on Hamiltons foot you would be singing to the F1 gods.

How would Alonso winning the WDC be hollow? That's pure nonsense.

I'm a Hamilton fan, but damn, I have to say Fernando has driven his own balls off on the track. He has been stellar, even including the infamous team orders skit. I don't like his personality, but I do admire him as a driver--whoever doesn't think he's top-notch is simply delusional.

Seeing how things are now, I'd love to see Webber get the WDC, but if Alonso gets it, damn well deserved.

I agree with you, but will wait and see what happens next week before I make a decision on who won it or who lost it.
