Yup. I'm wondering how come noones's noticed that Hulk on pole is even better for Alonso championship run than a RB!
An RB front row would have meant them blitzing away for a first stint gap while everyone else behind tries to keep on pace. Right now, they are behind a slower car, for an unkown number of laps and adding the possibility of a scrap, while Alonso is exactly where the logic expected him to be: behind RB.

Yeah, the Red Bulls are goona want past Hulk quickly, I don't see that taking too long tbh at least for one of them.

Hopefully both of the Bulls get tangled with Hulkenburg allowing Alonso and Hamilton to get away with Alonso in front of Hamilton :D

LOLOLOL i say we shouldnt say alonsos won two races before the end and now im a blatant troll and idiot and should be banned, you are being a bit payhetic in your overreaction mate. scotty please at keast read whats been said before assuming everyone heres been as bad as each oyher, been turned on by three known ferrari fans for no ither reason then stating to ALL F1 fans that you were all( regardless of who you supported) wrong with the premature 3rd title talk, hes still got the best chace but they way peopke were talking about it youd think the season finished a week ago

Calm down mate because your typing in Texmix and I told you earlier about my pending patent. Now you seem to be talking with some sort of sense and civility, you were not previously. I only ask that you not be so blatanly biased and disrespectful of other team's fan's and their opinions. I guess it just the 'cop' side of me or my yr's on this forum as not only a member but a mod aswell. Accept others opinions because that is ALL we have, nobody here is a team member or team insider yet they speak as if they are and god forbid someone questions their opinion.

That is all I will say about this but please allow me to finish with one little closing statement ok?

Hulkenberg and Williams!!!! :drink::cloud9:

Depends how fast Hulkenberg is in race pace. Vettels' first in line for a go and his record of overtaking similarly paced cars is not good. Come to think of it, Webber's is not much better. Unless one or both gets a jump on Hulk at the start, f1ea's prediction looks valid - or one of the Bulls will take Hulk out.

oh but i'm not predicting anything. I'm just saying that in reality, this Q simply added an extra element of issue for RB. Instead of them being clean aired to storm away, they have to deal with a slower car... which means: Vettel cant run away from Webber, and neither of them cant get away from Alonso... for an unknown number of laps. Adding the obvious risk/difficulty of overtaking a car with nothing to lose...........

Ah well... i'm still drinking my way out of all this uncertainty haha

Very good point, I hope the Hulk has that in mind and takes advantage. But Webber does have a habit of sticking his nose where it doesn't belong.

On a clean dry track, Williams cannot stay with RB Ferrari nor McLaren.
Having the Williams hold everyone back will play into Ferrari's hands.
Alonso is very good at handling a car through traffic.
As Long as he doesn't take himself out, He should finish in the top three.
If RB does their normal thing and take either one or both of them selves out. then it's Hello WDC / Alonso.

I don't want to belittle Nico's feat...that was a great pole position, but we should remember that he put his slick tires way before the other drivers...so he got a considerable heat in his tires wich made him faster afterwards...

Actually what you need to remember is that the Williams team and Nico made a better choice that outclassed the WDC/WCC contenders, its really very simple when one stops anal-izing every little ioda of every aspect and/or second.

Racing is very simplistic in all actuality and I'm constantly amazed at the clusterfawk everyone tries to turn it into. :banghead:

Yes, mate...I know that make the right decision in the right time is also part of the game...but we should consider that it's way easier to make that kind of decisions when your decision cant cost you the title.

I kinda like that trait in Weber

It is always good to see a rookie and a underrated team make a good performance

I dont see him leading to many laps but it will be interesting seeing other try and pass him

I am worried about his lack of experience in the front and having champions close on his tail (I hope there are no mistakes or accidents)

The first couple laps he will be defending his postition but if he continous to lead he will be looking in his rear view mirrors the whole race

The best to you Nico!!!!!

I find that observation to be irrelevant for the simple fact that any team or driver worth his/their salt should race and make decisions as if they are fighting for a champoinship. Hell when I was just a wee twig and played football we were down 20-0 in the 4th quarter but my/our never say die outlook led us to a 21-20 winning game thus winning the league championship. My point being and I'm sure you already know is that being the best regardless of your standings should not even be considered, only the cheerleaders sitting in the stands reach/grasp for such redundant excuses.

A win does not necessarily always mean winning the race or a game/event, it is all about progress ie baby steps if I may. I'm really most happy for Frank Williams more than Hulkenberg for the simple fact that I have been a huge fan of him, his team and their determination since the late 1970's.

Sorry I tend to ramble sometimes but I do respect your opinion and outlook and I'm only offering my opinion which is highly subjective to...... :D .
