alonso coming fifth is the best thing for this forum, now the premature 3 time wdc talk might be put on ice for a while.

You mean considering... Hulkenberg got a pole, Massa got almost bumped out of Q and Button did get bumped out........
Get a grip on yerself.

hahaha, so easy to touch fanboys nerves, seriously, and yet it never gets old, enjoy the race tomorrow boys

Wow what a come from behind for the Hulk, he was more then a full second faster then Vettel in qualifing. Simply amazing

The other great Williams performance this year was Rubens on Top Gear in the reasonably priced car. LOL

Vettel was the first person in 6 years to break into the 1:11s in practise

Did any person see the Kubica off at around 2:30? Was there something going across the track? (i replayed it again and again but can not put my finger on it)

I can not wait for the race tommorow, im doing my anti-rain dance

I only saw hammer mention mr 3times anyway, and then someone responded to it.

i didnt say it was specidically alonso or ferrari fans that were doing it, i was saying that. to any and every fool that thought alonso had praxrically won his third two races from the end, f1ea and texas saw red and one made the typical hamilton response and the other just had a poor attempt at a xomeback. obviously webber vettel and hamilton ahead of alonso has shook them, as they clearly expected gim to walk the last two race

EDIT oh no f1ea has also Turned it on hamilton LOL, just couldnt help themselves

I don't want to belittle Nico's feat...that was a great pole position, but we should remember that he put his slick tires way before the other drivers...so he got a considerable heat in his tires wich made him faster afterwards...

Actually what you need to remember is that the Williams team and Nico made a better choice that outclassed the WDC/WCC contenders, its really very simple when one stops anal-izing every little ioda of every aspect and/or second.

Racing is very simplistic in all actuality and I'm constantly amazed at the clusterfawk everyone tries to turn it into. :banghead:

Sorry mods but...

Alonso might pull something out of the hat, assuming his engine doesn't blow. Or he might stick the car into a wall, it'll be a sodding nerve wrecking race if your going to be focusing on Fernando.

Hulkenburg could have a massive role to play here. Some interesting stragety options if his pace is slower than the likes of Massa Jenson etc, might a front runner pitting early.

Yup. I'm wondering how come noones's noticed that Hulk on pole is even better for Alonso championship run than a RB!
An RB front row would have meant them blitzing away for a first stint gap while everyone else behind tries to keep on pace. Right now, they are behind a slower car, for an unkown number of laps and adding the possibility of a scrap, while Alonso is exactly where the logic expected him to be: behind RB.

The only minor surprise (ehhh apart from a Hulkenberg pole!) is Hamilton managed to get between Alonso and RB, not amazingly surprising... but at least something to talk about.

Yeah, the Red Bulls are goona want past Hulk quickly, I don't see that taking too long tbh at least for one of them.
