The deal will supply Red Bull with engines through to 2013 when team owner Dietrich Mateschitz has hinted that the drinks company might go it alone under the planned new regulations.

"We're staying with Renault," he told the Kleine Zeitung newspaper. "But we are on stand-by for an interesting partnership. And even the idea of developing our own engine, I think, is no longer so absurd."

Interesting partnership? Like Lada or Tata or somtin'?
Developing our own engine - badabing, badaboom, eh? The Red Bull V4 Turbo gives you wings!

I tasted Red Bull once.

So did I and I almost :vomit: but I find Dietrichs commitment to be a good thing, he seems dedicated to his F1 venture/persuit of a WDC/WCC no matter what the cost may be. :drink:

Fast forward to 2013:

Martin Whitmarsh accuses Red Bull of having illegally flexing turbocharger vanes

The turbocharger alters gravity to reduce it's force acting on the car, by then it will be common knowledge that Adrian Newey is actually a crocodile.
