They should totally have today's F1 drivers annually race older F1 cars in the off season. Would be cool to see!

Like a once off race for charity or something.

:rofl: Your inclusions and omissions speak volumes. Gotta agree with Gilles though!

Where? in the great/legendary list??
Ah well, i dont mean it to be definitive. Just a 'general overview'... I searched 'legendary driver' on Wiki and got nothing :hehe:

That's the point I'm making; comparing Senna to Alonso is like comparing chalk to cheese; two very different cars, driving a F1 car today is easy compared to cars from the generation of Senna, Prost and Mansell. I think it's a fair test; give Alonso a week to acclimatise to the car and see what happens, if he's so great he should be able to do it!

no need to compare. What for?
All we can do at the most is compare some aspects, good for a chat... and try and make an opinion based on perception or memory......... nothing solid or accurate. Who on earth would give these guys an old car for the sake of comparison and which of thse guys is going to risk themselves driving an older car, for the sake of a comparison? to prove Berger right or wrong? hehe

I think us the fans worry more about comparisons than the drivers.........

There are some similarities; both their names end in a vowel, both have one 'S', Senna has two N's, Alonso has two O's...

N-N-O-O!!!
