At this stage I hope Lewis, Vettel, Webber or anyone else except for Mr Team Orders to win the WDC. 10 place penalty please!!

FFs, go to the team orders thread, yeah I bet Hamilton, Jenson Webber and Vettel go to their team briefings and just sprout Ferrari used team orders, lets hope Alonso doesn't win. Or do they actually realise theres more to f1, that they have to get over it and work on developing the car, on concentrating on the race etc?

You don't think there's more to f1? You think Ferrari using team orders is the be all and end all of their season?

Fernando's engine blew, great, I think I need to take something to clam my nerves during the race.
BBC journalists on Twitter have reported it was due to be changed between sessions anyway.

Anyone watching practice 1? Jenson's car is making the standard burpy tones we've heard them making the last few races, but it's clearly making pops and pauses in the burping during deceleration.

EDIT: Looks like it's both McLaren cars.

Im watching it on a stream not the best audio quality. Maybe they have a new blown diffuser component?

if you want to hear the sound, i have a video i took at the Singapore GP in which you can compare the sounds of different cars as they pass through turn 3. Mclarens definitely sounded farty.

Interesting that Vettel and Webber are 1-2 respectively in both sessions. Horner might find himself with some tough decisions to make...

I think Ferrari are sand bagging a bit. They won't be far off the pace come quali. That's if it stays dry, there is a threat of thunder strorms. We all know when it rains there in normally thrashes it down at the best of times.

My money is on Vettel winning this weekend,Alonso,Webber,Hamilton in that order.

I watched the coverage on the red button. Love this track, I just knew I would hear Jenson on the radio complaining AGAIN about his grip. Koby-smashi at his best in his Mitsubishi zero, trying to take out a few ships, bloody loon, makes me laugh though

Situation normal after P2. Bulls at the front, closely followed by Alonso with Hamilton a little further back. Button trailing the leaders and a couple of others, complaining about lack of grip.

Boring, in other words, except...

... the perception of favouritism in the Red Bull camp, Alonso's engine on a knife edge, Massa threatened with jail if he helps Alonso, Hamilton saying there's no more in the tank - and the possibility of rain.

DEFINITELY not boring.

Really! after all the crap Webber the ram rod has got away this season especially against Lewis,i would rather Alonso or Vettel win it.

I really don't like Alonso but i dislike Webber more.

I'm also on the side of I detest Alonso the scumbag :hehe:

I detest the guy ,at least Webber has a personality even if he is a convict
Alonso is one of those drivers I will never like, admire the ability but will never rate as a true great.Trouble surrounds him no matter who he drives for.

I love the Brazilian fans :D

Funny story, my one and only appearance on TV was due to a rowdy bunch of Brazilian Senna fans in the stands of Kyalami. There was lil ole me in my eighties knickerbockers surrounded by twenty thousand beautiful Brazilians screaming "OLE! OLE! OLE! SENNA!"

Next week, my parents started their first leg of an around the world trip. First stop, Sao Paula. From the back of the plane they heard..."OLE! OLE! OLE! SENNA!.... :D

Okay, enough nostalgia...I'm super-excited for this weekend!!! I'm so looking forward to it, I'm surprised I've not broken out into nervous excitement hives. I've never had nervous excitement hives before though, so that might explain my current lack of nervous excitement hives. However! If I did have a history of nervous excitement hives, this is when I would have a plethora of nervous excitement hives.

I can't wait!
