Don't forget Ferruccio got his start building tractors. Mahindra could be selling supercars in five years time (if they weren't in a country with a 19th Century infrastructure and where 1/4th of the populace subsists on less than €1 per day).

Commonwealth games = Corrupt to hell public sector.
Formula One circuit = Money making private sector.

There is a higher chance this will not be similar to the CWG.

I think it will be close, similar to Korea. If you look at pictures of the Korean circuit from earlier THIS year it looked quite similar to this.

12 months is ample time to get this done. I'm pretty sure they can make it. Circuit looks interesting!! Luckily not another Valencia/Abu Dhabi layout...should be something like Korea with more elevation changes? Not bad.

If that map is accurate, it's going to be interesting seeing F1 cars losing their front wing in the middle of the back straight with the dip before going back up hill!

Haha, i can just imagine that, the flexi front wings just digging into the tarmac and snapping right off!

If it is built, the drivers will be going flat out as they will never last a race with the inevitable Delhi Belly. Bernie the Poison Dwarf is getting dementia.

Its not inevitable at all, i have travelled around India plenty of times and never gotten "Delhi Belly".

And most drivers eat food prepared by their staff, so chance of getting sick will be the same as any other circuit.

Or they will just rocket off the uphill part like a jet fighter (Red Bull Air Race)
