I really don't know. The Ferrari 288 GTO has got to be up there for me:

Good call! You can never narrow it down to one when you love cars so much!

Lancia Stratos or Jaguar E type for me.

I know right! Probably 2 of the biggest cliches.

NO...if you had said a Lamborghini Countach....that is a cliche!

The E-Type, Stratos and 288GTO are well up there fore me.....along with a Ferrari 250 GTO, Lamborghini Miura and Ford GT40.

I have a friend in Australia who collects his "dream" cars ... which happens to be Group A Rally Cars (well the homologated road going versions). He has an immaculate Peugeot 205 S16, Lancia Delta Integrale Evo, Ford Escort Cosworth as well as an E30 BMW M3 Evolution with only 4,000km on the clock. They might not be "uber" cars...but they are all fantastic cars from the 80's.

Make sure you send him a Christmas card along with alittle hint about helping him to not let them become 'garage queens' . Those are all fantastic cars so kudos to him for having such great taste, a true carguy he seem's to be.

I know he's looking for an Audi Quattro Coupe at the moment... but they are really hard to find authentic, collectable ones. But of the others....they rarely get driven.

A few pics of the progress simply stunning craftsmanship and I cannot wait to see it race and buy the video.
