Why do you have such a big issue with me? you jump on every post I make that mentions Ferrari, I express my opinion and your reaction is to try and belittle me! From now on I'll PM you with my posts in advance and you and read them and make any changes you feel necessary before PM'ing me back with the edited version for me to post!
Don't flatter yourself. I only commented on your judging Felipe a liar. Something we both know isn't true.
You won't intimidate me from calling those statements to task by trying to hijack my comments as being something to do with you.
I am not trying to intimidate anyone; I am talking as a F1 fan not a moderator, if it's not in green, it's not a moderator action! Oh, I get it; because the FIA ruled that he wasn't a liar; that means that he wasn't a liar; I don't think any neutral or non Ferrari fan believes that for a moment, frankly the FIA have no backbone when it comes to punishing Ferrari because they were one of the founding teams. By that reckoning Lewis Hamilton didn't lie in Australia 2009 either, the team told him to say it so it's not a lie!!!
And Ferrari were still guilty as the stewards decision was upheld; they just escaped further punishment with their "McLaren used team orders in Turkey" defence!!!
I have no idea why you are bringing this up. I have agreed. What you ignore and don't say is that the WMSC completely accepted Felipe's statement. They did not call it to task. They did not have any follow-up charge against him. They accepted what he said was true. You are the one calling him a liar.
I bring this up because if Felipe was not lying; why would the decision be upheld? A driver allowing a fellow driver pass of his own accord isn't a team order!!!
You guys are arguing semantics. A good knock down drag out ferrari lamb versus mclaren lamb fight is pretty fun to watch in here, but this one between two self declared non-lambs is actually pretty boring.
The FIA didn't proceed with further actions because they could not do so. Why? Because Ferrari's radio calls were nearly identical to McLaren's which netted a WDC by ONE point. Had their driver even attempted to hold off his team mate...McLaren may not have won that race, nor that title. So how could the FIA possibly get all fired up and hammer Ferrari for the exact same thing now and not end up in court? They couldn't. They have chosen in the past not to uphold this ridiculous rule, so they couldn't do so now. Get over it already. Who cares what the FIA thinks or thought or wanted to think about something that has already been decided and is over with?
Red Bull has admitted they are considering team tactics now. Team tactics...is different from team orders....why? Because there isn't a radio call saying to do something specific right that moment....instead it's all discussed ahead of time so it's tactics? It would take a special kind of naivety to believe there is a difference between tactics and orders...and even more so to believe their special team is above using team orders.
MOVE ON for the love of God!
