I dont think McLaren will want 2 sophomores racing for them, they will need someone with experience to partner Lewis. who knows they might even use Pedro and keep the spanish sponsors happy!

It won't happen but I'd love to see Schumi go to Mclaren along side Lewis, see how he'd cope with no team orders and no FIA delegates in the team.

I'm quite sure he would continue his winning way's.

That's entirely possible actually, i hadn't thought of that. DLR is no slouch either....

I don't know why the BBC are saying he's most likely gonna go to RBR when they have both drivers signed, i wouldn't like to see him split what is probably my favourite driver pairing and team at the moment anyway

DLR showed great speed in '06, I think McLaren should consider him for the seat.

"He" being Lewis I guess. DLR would be a good choice, Fast and no rattles to throw.

Great news then - good riddance Alonso - now give his seat to Jenson

Im not sure DLR will be kept in the line up especially with everything that went on in the scandal involving emails. like it has been mentioned they have to keep sponsors happ so it may be a case of money and having to keep him.

I would like to see jenson get the ride, shame he is stuck at honda.

I would quite like to see a deal being done to allow Nick Heidfeld to go to McLaren and Alonso to BMW.
Personally i believe that could lead to the Top 2 last season facing a tougher challenge from BMW.

Actually the best Honda driver would be Reubens. He has shown he can play the 2nd driver well and that he can help win a manufacturers title.

I don't know how you can say that when he was comprehensively beaten by JB in the majority of this season's races. So on that basis, i'd say he's a bit past it if anything...

The last man Rubens seriously outpaced was Jan Magnussen!

Jenson would be a good number 2 for lewis (I don't think that he will challenge him) if you want another person capable of winning the title put Nico in the car.

My whole point was that he would be a good 2ND driver.

Everyone has made a big deal about how Alonso reacted to the new kid but everyone seems to give Lewis a pass on how he treated Alonso. In Hungary Alonso got punished but the whole thing started with Lewis. Clearly McLaren can not team him with another driver who will also try and win the title they can only get him a 2nd.
