Luckily for Fernando he got a win without needing much from the engine. Now has 3 engines to use for the 2 races... perhaps they will the Monza engine (which they probably trashed) in Abu Dhabi and leave the other for Interlagos. Who knows, he could still get a failure.

But funny... Alonso leading the championship??!! This is crazy stuff.

Vettel had been complaining about braking for T1 i thought when Alonso passed it was a brake problem; but wow, the engine blew hard...

Where do you get three engines from?? FA's Monza engine was his 8th - it has now done 4 races - winning 3 of them. Pretty good going.

It's easier to read on the original site http://www.f1wolf.com/2010-season. But as far as I can see Fernando is going to be stuck with using his Spa engine (which might be broken anyway) or one of the ones that has already done two races earlier in the season, or taking a grid penalty...

6,7,7
(considering they'll ditch Bahrain's)

eidt. Oh i get it, its not exactly 3 engines, but enough possible engines (3x max per engine) for 3 races

Hmm, but it seems that 90% of the grid only used the Spa engine once. Which either means that they colluded to all keep exactly the same one in reserve, or they're all f-ed.

I know Vettel was certainly ragging the rev limiter lap after lap in Spa, i'm guessing that'll be something to do with it and the case for a fair few drivers.

What no one is considering is the work behind the doors.
Shell has given Ferrari new engine oils and a new fuel.
Rumor has it that the oil has dropped engine temps down 15 to 20 degrees do to it's lubrication qualities. (less friction means more HP)
The new fuel "supposedly" allows more engine advance timing without detonation.
This gives the Ferrari motors more midrange torque without loosing any top end.
Just rumors.....
